Sir Tarmo Kink
First CPL match on tonight and St Kitts Patriots have chosen to bowl against T&T Knight Riders. No DJ Bravo for the hosts but a top 4 of Lendl Simmons, Denesh Ramdin, Kieron Pollard and James Neesham looks pretty deadly. Sunil Narine also playing.Patriots look more balanced with Evin Lewis, Mohammed Hafeez, Carlos Brathwaite, Fabien Allen, Sheldon Cottrell and Alzarri Joseph. Should be a good game.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Timely reminder. Good way to spend some of my morning.Narine actually opens the batting and Cottrell bowls him first over. The salute has been used already!
Sir Tarmo Kink
Webster gone, and it’s Cottrell again! The salute is back!
Eednud
Better get off of here or else it will be over before I start watching it.
Eednud
Sat down in time to see Simmons hit a 6 then bowled next over. Always like the crowd shots in this comp.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Neesham and Ramdin have built a decent partnership but the run rate is still too low. Suspect that will change when Pollard comes in to smack 70 off about 15 balls.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Rahmat Shah has just scored Afghanistan’s first ever Test century, making 102 against Bangladesh. He came close against Ireland earlier this year too, with 98 I think.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Ridiculous shot by Wade. He’s got the second innings to save himself or his Ashes will be over. Quite surprised he made the cut for this Test to be honest, that 100 is saving him.
FifeArab
Usual 100 by Steve Smith. Outstanding.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Steve Smith just firing in another hundred almost effortlessly. Far and away the best player in this Ashes series, and he’s only played 4 of a possible 7 innings so far.
NathanQP
Australia won’t be beaten with Smith in the squad
Sir Tarmo Kink
Stokes goes for 15 that over, Paine looking surprisingly comfortable now. Now Leach takes Smith first ball. Big big wicket. Edit - It’s a no ball
dorlomin
Only rain can get a draw for England by the look of things. Their batting is always one wicket away from a collapse and they seem to be coming unstuck in the field. Smith is a twitchy genius.

Edit - It’s a no ball How can a spinner bowl a no ball? I'm at work - assuming it was a foot over the line no ball.
Sir Tarmo Kink
400+ looking realistic now. Smith elevates Australia’s overall batting from pretty average (as seen in the last Test) to match winning level. He is such an excellent player. Can’t see England getting close to whatever total is getting set here.
DigOutYourSoul
If smith stays in, how long will they bat for before they call it quits - with the weather the be poor tomorrow.
peasy23
How can a spinner bowl a no ball? I'm at work - assuming it was a foot over the line no ball.Like this. Unforgivable for a spinner. England completely rudderless in that session. Stokes struggling with a shoulder injury and has about a yard of tape on his hand. Overton a waste of a jersey, and it says it all about how Archer has performed that he hardly touched the new ball. Broad has been a bit unfortunate not to find the edge a few times.
