MacIntyre has moved up a place in the world rankings without even playing this weekend.

Knox moves up 20 places but is still just outside the top 200. It's a long road back for him.

It is a long road back for Knox but he's been striking the ball really well lately.

He missed the first green in regulation in round 2 on Friday and made the next 26 greens in regulation before missing the 10th green in round 3 on Saturday. That's impressive. Seems back to full fitness too. Hopefully he gets a sustained run of good form now.

If he can regain the consistency he had a few years ago then he should be looking towards the top 100 by the end of this season hopefully.

He had a pretty miserable run last year when he missed ten cuts in a row at one point, seems to be getting back to some sort of form now. Lowest he dropped on the OWGR was 235th, from a career high of 18th at the end of 2016, quite surprised he didn't drop further tbh.

Yes he went from being the guy who rarely missed a cut to a guy who struggled to make one.

Calum Hill has stumbled upon a new caddy by accident, and it's one of the most experienced in the business in Phil "Wobbly" Morbey, who was on Woosnam's bag when he won the Masters. Could be a good steady hand for Calum.

The first words Woosnam said to Wobbly after holing out to seal the win at Augusta were "put me down you daft c**t", after his caddy had ran on the green and hoisted him off his feet. [emoji1787]

Better check how many clubs are in the bag next time though.

Was he still his caddy then? I thought it was someone else.

It was someone else - Miles Byrne

Aye a guy called Miles Byrne was Woosnam's caddy on that fateful day.

He was eventually sacked two weeks later after missing Woosnam's tee time for the final round of the Scandinavian Open. He apparently slept in after going for a night out on the Saturday.

**Fantasy Golf Week 6**

IMG_20210215_231902.thumb.jpg.d9904397eea3eee171d6cc311a816872.jpg

"still haven't found what I'm looking for"

Week 6 is likely to be one of the quietest weeks this year, but still produced an entertaining tournament. Daniel proved he's the best sporting Berger since Patrik led the Czech Republic to the Euro 96 semis. Jordan Spieth's comeback continued, not enough to win, but progress being made, shown by the fact that his caddie was in a tree looking for his playing partner's ball and not Jordan's. Nate Lashley's head detachment on the 16th after a 4 putt is also worth a mention.

Not many points dished out this week, Spieth, Casey, Cantlay, Day and Knox getting their fantasy teams on the scoresheet. There's no change to the overall positions though, but things have tightened up slightly at the top.

From famine to feast this week in terms of the strength of field, as almost everyone likes to turn out for Tiger's Genesis Invitational. The big man himself is still injured, but this will probably be the strongest field outside of majors and WGC's this year. We're at the timeless Riviera Country Club, an all American classic. Expertly routed through difficult terrain and in the immaculate condition you would expect from a course a mere driver and wedge away from Santa Monica and Sunset Boulevard. I'm willing to overlook the gimmicky bunker in the green on no.6 for gems like the drivable 10th. Alongside Torrey Pines, it's the only course on tour that uses kikuyu grass surfaces, so alongside those who do well at classic US tracks, expect those who performed at Torrey a fortnight ago to go well here.

The fantasy league is going to Hollywood baby.
