Bully Wee Villa
When the draw was made they were seeded below Scotland.
GAD
I always thought Owen Farrell would cost England in this world cup, but I thought it would be a stupid shoulder charge or something. It's funnier that it was just him being shite for the whole game then capping it all with his trademark flapping non tackle to let Kolbe wander in to ensure the pumping.

Australia’s first rugby league international defeat to other than NZ, GB or England since 1978 when France won 11-10. This was the last of a triple header with NZ defeating the GB Lions 12-8 in the 2nd game and Fiji 44 Samoa 18 in the opening game. 3 hours ago, afca32 said: Well deserved too. Tonga doing brilliantly. Deservedly beat GB last week, and beat NZ and only lost to England by 2pts in last RLWC.
AngusTheBull
Glad to see Matt Dawson’s ‘if you picked a combined England/SA team you wouldn’t have any South Africans in it’ prediction go as well as it could have. I suspect the English team didn’t, but too many of the English supporters and media thought they’d already won it after last week.

Kolisi is the perfect captain and seems like a brilliant man. Kolbe has proven that wee guys can make it and IMO is the best back in the world. Great stuff. Whilst all of that is great. Fucking superb just seeing England get beat isn't it.

come on shire
I never watched the 3rd place game. A joke game that needs scrapped tbh. Huge congrats to SA. As amusing as it was seeing England's chariot wrecked to bits, it was tight in the 1st half and looked finely balanced. 2nd half England were poor. Their scrum was shocking and Elliot Daly looked like he'd struggle to get a game for Glenrothes. Mapimpi got the 1st try. However England made an arse of a good chance after with Anthony Watson's knock on. That's when they collapsed. Faf de Klerk and his flowing blond locks were unplayable. I was at the Glasgow game last night. Getting a BP win was crucial so hopefully we can get consistency now. The Southern Kings could possibly be the worst side I've ever seen at Scotstoun. You can only play what's in front of you though...

Guest Bob Mahelp
Wonderful to see the hubris from the Englsih media....most of it from the Brexit supporting rags, unsurprisingly......being shoved right back up their smug erses. England were fantastic last week, but the suspicion remains that if they get under pressure and can't rely on Plan A, they crumble. And so it proved. Pleasing, most pleasing.

Mark Connolly
Just seen the final now. Absolutely brilliant. They brutalised England, then the two best wingers in the world both scored. Kolbe, rightly, gets a lot of the headlines, but Mapimpi is absolutely brilliant, and has a brilliant name. Felt a bit sorry for Sinckler, injury looked horrible, but glad to see him back out on the sidelines after. Did anyone else thing Woodward's disappointment was clearly tempered by the fact he knows he's still the only England (and NH) coach to win one, and that's one more than Eddie?
