Swarley
Converted try Scotland, 37-25. Should be safe now. Out of interest, is the ESPN coverage using the local pictures/commentators? Picture quality is shite and the commentators keep referring to the "Flying Fijians". Which I know will be their nickname but there is no need to use it in every sentence.
Fuctifano
Saw none of the game but another good win, would have been easy to slip up after last week. 2 tries on debut for McVisser as well. Ireland 10-9 up against nz at ht, can't see them hanging on tho.

Might not be just local commentary, but just a general pacific region commentary as they seem to be aware others a listening, probably in NZ and Aus. It will be weighted to them. The picture quality is cracking- remember watching sports from abroad in late 70s/80s? It is like that- even the graphics are old school!

Think we might move back above Samoa in the rankings after that win?

Think we might move back above Samoa in the rankings after that win? Think we do. It's been a great tour for the team & they have earned a lot of good will by going to Fiji & Samoa as not many teams make the trip (especially to Fiji). Blooded some new caps got some mighty defensive performances & scored tries. All in all a good tour.
Swarley
Shame Ireland went home a week early and left their U-9s to play the All Blacks. 60-0 final score

If we can beat Tonga and SA in the autumn tests ( huge task I know) then we could maybe sneak into the top 8 in time for the WC2015 draw in December. Could make a massive difference to our chances of making it through the group stages.

Rasheed
Wales lose another close test I see. Bollocks! Disappointing how close they came to winning the series only to lose 3-0 in the end.
printer
A clean sweep in the Southern Hemisphere Wasn't expecting that. Tremendous effort. Winning breeds winning, so let's hope we can go on from here, have a good Autumn and a successful 6 nations.
BigMartyn86
Despite playing rugby for Alloa I always seem to forget about this thread on here. Anyway it's great that we managed a clean sweep down under, also looking forward to the tonga game. Think a few of us will be going up and staying overnight in Aberdeen for it. Got a email yesterday from the IRB saying that new rules are being trialled next year. Biggest one (for me anyway) is the scrum procedures. Instead of crouch, touch, pause and engage. It will be crouch, touch and set. Set isn't a command but it's letting the front rows they can come together when ready. http://www.sport-development-mailer.com/t/ViewEmail/r/36BE4E02322F6A13/BEAA047A3E368901F039C523302FD418
Rasheed
The main problem with the commands at scrum time is they are too long, its the uneccessary pauses that cause teams to "false start" into the scrums.
