CK
I think this could be done with a view for Scotland's 6 Nations preparation too, with Horne out injured, Jackson not getting much game time at Harlequins and Weir not being very good or fitting our style plus he only plays one position, I can see Hogg being our backup 10 in the matchday 23 during the 6N.
same_ol_g35
Well that was a woeful start from us.
peasy23
Poor start, 5-0 down inside a few minutes and did very little in possession.
peasy23
Breakaway try by Hogg, out of nothing, Treviso tried a grubber kick which bounced into Hogg's hands and he ran 80 metres to go under the posts. 7-5 Glasgow.
dogmc
Poor start, 5-0 down inside a few minutes and did very little in possession. True though a blatant offside at ruck and a forward pass in lead up to try didn't help
peasy23
True though a blatant offside at ruck and a forward pass in lead up to try didn't help Yep, but they were still very sloppy in possession. Another cracking try, 14-5 up now.

Given that he has only 5 or 6 games as a senior at ten it's plain crazy to expect him to play in one of the most specialised positions at international level. If the sru don't fancy weir then heath cote would be most sensible option imo. Eta even Kinghorn has more minutes at ten in last couple of years.2nd eta I'm very cynical about this....can't help but see this as an indulgence for the Lions. ...we can't really think that someone who has only played 10 5 or 6 times as an adult and not at all in last 4 years is a better option than weir Jackson heathcote or tonks.

Comes from changing so much personnel I guess
afca32
Good try again but pathetic tackle on Ashe. Was it Allan?
afca32
Jings that was embarrassing.

same_ol_g35
Defending isn't at a premium in this game. It wasn't totally his fault, the Passover his head was brutal. But it just seems Murchie has regressed a hell of a lot in the past few seasons. The curse of backing up such a pivotal and quality player I suppose.
Northsea80
Comical stuff. Agree regarding Murchie, he had a good spell towards the end of the season when Glasgow made their first final (when Hogg was in the bad books). Since then he's kind of fallen away I suppose through lack of game time.

Eta came through at same time as horne but in last couple of years they have taken very divergent paths.

peasy23
Excellent finish by Grigg to restore a cushion. 10 points in it again.
Mark Connolly
Ref marching Treviso up the pitch like John Elway on a last minute drive.
same_ol_g35
Ref marching Treviso up the pitch like John Elway on a last minute drive. He's been their most influential player. He has his Italian tinted glasses on. Giving them everything.

Mark Connolly
Great score Glasgow. Bit surprised the ref didn't give a penalty for keeping the ball too long.
