DA Baracus Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 Been big in to Vault City this year. They do not disappoint! This is no exception! What other brewery deliver such clarity of flavour? It's so 'fresh' tasting too. Blueberry obviously is the prominent flavour here but it doesn't smother the vanilla and doughnut flavours. I like blueberries (I have them in my breakfast porridge most mornings) but reckon if this beer dropped the blueberry flavour it would be incredible, although I suppose vanilla doughnut doesn't lend itself to a sour. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DA Baracus Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 Was at a Beer Festival last Saturday in Dundee (Bonar Hall). It was absolutely excellent and there were loads of fantastic breweries and beer. My favourite however was Reids Gold, a Stonehaven brewery. It's mostly a one man operation and the man himself was there last weekend. Had a good chat with him, seemed like a top guy. His beers were my favourite, and it was a very good 'field' as it were (didn't have a single beer all night I didn't like). The one above is really nice. Also had a banana stout and his Fireballs IPA (actually a really excellent mango IPA). I actually passed said Taproom in January en route to our game at Meadowbank in January. Camden stuff is really good. I never actually had any of their stuff (they were located out of the main hall) but won a hamper in the raffle that had this in it. It's really nice.
