Rab B Nesbit
FA Cup Preliminary round yesterday and glorious weather for Charnock Richard v Longridge Town at Mossie Park. The home side in front in the 1st half, pegged back in the 2nd. They will do it again during the week. Crowd 234.
DiegoDiego
Astana 5-0 Taraz.Second week in a row watching Taraz for me. They weren't as good as against Kairat but 1-0 was a fair reflection after the first half against a team challenging for the league. Then Astana scored a beauty of an overhead kick (about 3mins on the video), the heads dropped and Taraz conceded again a minute later, a fourth was chalked off for offside swiftly after that but two more goals would follow before the end. There were also two sendings off when players went for each other's throats which kept the game lively towards the end.

Ross.
Went to Lausanne for the Aarau match on Saturday evening. 4 cans on the way there, 6 or 7 pints at the game, and then some quirk of the licensing laws in Lausanne resulted in me being unable to buy beer for the journey home, and instead buying a bottle of red wine which I subsequently tanned far too quickly. Appear to have fallen asleep on the train, went past my stop, caught another train, went past my stop, caught a 3rd train and managed to get off at my stop, but have no recollection of any of it and I am reliant on Whatsapp messages and phonecall records as I put together the missing 3 hours of Saturday. Lausanne absolutely hammered Aarau 5-1. They are winning the league with ease this season. Anyones guess how the other 9 clubs finish up, nothing between the rest from what I have seen.

Cptn Hooch
Went along to Snodland to catch their game against Lydd Town. Snodland went down 2-0 with the assistant manager having to come on due to injury. Nice few drinks at the ground with some of the guys involved at the club then off to the Duke of Wellington pub for afters. Good afternoon out.

Connor1874
Was at Berwick vs Newtongrange on Saturday, Edinburgh Uni vs Berwick tonight and Newcastle vs Watford to come this Saturday. Turning into a right wee North East sympathiser.

Fantastic ground Monk. Was at the old one too which was great but the new one is a worthy replacement. -
Priti priti priti Patel
Halfway through Crystal Palace v Colchester now. Palace have been poor... and confusing. They line up in a 4-4-2 for restarts of play then immediately the two full backs push up and one of the CMs drops back, to create a 2-3-3-2 which promptly falls put of shape as soon as they get the ball. Colchester meanwhile in an eye-pleasing 4-1-3-2 which is marshalling the game excellently. Great atmosphere despite the half full stadium with the U's fans outsinging and outnumbering the Palace "singing section".Struggling to focus on any of this, mind, because of the absolute inane drivel emanating from the bloke behind me. I'll post some of his highlights at full time.
Le Tout P'ti FC
Edinburgh University v Berwick Rangers. The midge went out right from the start, and have kept up a high tempo throughout.
Connor1874
Another who was at Peffermill this evening. Berwick 1-0 winners thanks to a well taken finish from substitute Yaw Osei. Not a lot in it tbh, Edinburgh Uni probably feeling like they should've got something. Game of football, cheeseburger and a can of coke all for a tenner.

Christophe
I'll buck the trend with East Kilbride Vs Civil Service Strollers. Finished 1-0 Strollers, slightly against the run of play but both teams had chances. Highlight of the night was a very vocal lad in a wheelchair effing and jeffing for 90 minutes and belting out "stand up if you love Kilbie" for an encore. The midges at K Park are utterly horrendous it should be noted. Eaten alive. Edited August 27, 2019 by Christophe
