  1. That 2nd penalty from Nigeria is a howling miss.
  2. Was it not the other way round? 2 and 1/2 years since they failed to score in the 2nd half of a test match. They were shite in the 6Ns but scored in 2nd half against us and I remember a consolation via Ireland too.
  3. Sell him, get cash and he's still winning us penalties! Nice to see the BBC reporter phoned that one in from the pub.
  4. Killie look better than last year, but were fairly strong at home then too. For the amount of money in that Rangers side they were pretty poor.
  5. Arbroath looked woeful against us and no better here. If they are staying up they need a better defence. Two centrebacks getting run ragged.
  6. Carson will be a great signing for Dundee. No idea what on earth went on in the summer, but 6 figures is not to be sniffed at. I do think keeper is an area we've weakened this year.
  7. I can't see Strain wanting to stay in Scotland to be honest. I think he'd get a decent gig elsewhere comfortably and might be in his interests to wait until being a free agent.
  8. Sainz should just park it. Norris looks slow as anything.
  9. Seems the Gallagher deal is a decent move for both parties. He was mostly being used off the bench so if we get someone in to compete that's a bonus. Still think we look light in defence and midfield.
  10. I've read from guys at lower fringes of the tours how difficult it is particularly with travel costs but that is idiocy.
  11. I'm not sure about adding more forward lines - I'd have thought our budget would be better spent on midfield or defence
  12. I don't know about thug as most of his tackles were clumsy but the ref kept him on. Easily should have had 2 yellows. Indeed I thought the tackle in the box where he clattered into our player after he laid it back was a penalty but would need to see it again.
  13. Arbroath were utterly atrocious footballing wise. Were more about grappling than anything else. Really should have had more than 4. The change at the end to bring on Greive, Jamieson and Nahmani really upped the pace and was excellent. Difficult to tell how good we were given Arbroath's performance. Hopefully Strain and Kiltie are not badly hurt. Ref struggled the whole game and not sure how Balde the number 25 survived the 90mins I'll never know.
  14. Given it's the middle of the summer holidays and there are other things on, not surprising. Added that we've played terribly in the last game, treat them as pre-season friendlies and it's against a team we played last year too. I just really have little interest in the group stage and I'll make my mind up on the day -suspect many others will too.
  15. Surely that is a mechanical fault - doesn't seem to be all that faster initially, doesn't lock up but is rocking the wheel and just steams though cars. It would be hilarious.
  16. I think it's fine. As long as the home kit is black and white stripes, I don't really care that much about the away one as long as it looks nice!
  17. Great laps Daniel. Now get out of that car and try it with the slowest car out.
  18. I have sympathy with De Vries. I get he's not hit the ground running but he wasn't woeful like some in recent years and 10 races isn't a lot to get settled. Getting beaten by Tsunoda isn't good, but the car seems poor. Helmut Marko's comments regarding Horner's 'warning' and yellow card were brutal so that combined with Red Bull's history and his slow start makes it's not surprising. It would make more sense to me if it was to promote a young and promising Red Bull driver, rather than Ricciardo, given his results at McLaren. He'll probably make me eat my words now with a series of great drives!. With Vips gone and Lawson in a Super Formula title battle guess there wasn't really an option there. Perez struggling won't have helped the situation, a closer season might have seen them have a constructors battle. I wonder if this is an eye on seeing if Ricciardo could get a seat there. I agree, but it was probably the wrong team for him to choose in hindsight. I suspect had he gone to Williams he might have lasted the season at least.
  19. Kinda risky for Ricciardo. The Alphatauri looks a bit of a pup and if he gets beaten by Tsunoda after his last year and a bit with McLaren he'll not have many options. I think it's a little harsh on DeVries as he's not that far off Tsunoda but Red Bull have been a little quick before - see Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly.
  20. Was on the night bus on Saturday night. Trnsmt was on, town was busy and it was very quiet. Used to be really busy and a party bus. I used to use the train more than bus to get into Glasgow but switched due to the cuts that Scotrail made to frequency and late night services.
  21. I'm not sure about that. He's having a poor season, but he has a decent record overall with Championship wins in Formula E and F2. Indeed he was teammates with Mazepin when he won the title and demolished him, although second was Nicolas Latifi so...
  22. Either that Williams is rapid in a straight line or that Alpine is a dog - Ocon with DRS for lap after lap doing nothing against Albon.
  23. I think Alonso would take him out rather than let him through.
  24. I'd love to see Hamilton try to have a go at Alonso towards the end.
  25. Has that garage got enough spatial awareness George.
