I think most of the top 7-8 Italian sides (Juve, Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio, Parma, Fiorentina) were probably spending ridiculous amount of money in those days.
Genuine competition with Sevco is actually what Celtic need in the long term. This narrowing of the gap between them will be at least partly by design. That was probably why they appointed a man of such limited managerial ability as Lennon.
I think we can state without fear of contradiction that had the neck-cutting gesture been made by a Celtic player from Colombia in exactly the same circumstances, the **** would be condemning it to the highest heaven.
If he's a complete nutter, isn't it worth keeping him around to throw on with 5 minutes to go when we're 3-0 down so he can put in a career-ending tackle on some opposition player we really don't like?
Scott Brown to taunt Morelos into a heads-gone of Biblical proportions. The referee, fearing for his life, will issue only a yellow card.
I don't really care what the score is. Hilarious violence is all I hope for.
I too am recovering from a stinker of a cold. Last night for some reason I dreamed I was a WWII soldier who'd just taken part in shelling/bombing the crap out of some German village, only to be informed that I was now expected to adopt one of the German children whose parents I had just removed from the equation.
My wife and I are currently going through the adoption process but it's the first time I've dreamed about it.
I think this argument can be brought to an end by the following two observations:
1. The Sevco and Celtic fanbases are both equally sub-human and should be utterly ashamed of themselves.
2. Bennett has never watched a game of football in his life.
This would be the kind of game we'd typically go into with high expectations and fall on our collective arse. This season I think we've got too much about us for that to happen. It won't be a comfortable victory but we'll get there. 2-1 Well.
