  1. My teeth are itching from the grammatical clusterfuck which remains of your post, but anyway, FTFY m8.
  2. Villareal 2-0 up at home at half time. I'd imagine a win for Dynamo Kiev there is unlikely so11th seems now all but secure.
  3. Of course, any manager coming into Celtic can now point at the fact that Rangers stood by Gerrard and gave him two seasons worth of grace whilst he won hee-haw. The way I see it, Celtic have two rods for their back just now. One made by Rangers and mentioned above, the other made by themselves when they pushed the yacht out and went Hollywood with Brendan Rodgers.
  4. Sarah Harding (ex Girls Aloud) states that Christmas 2020 "was probably her last" https://www-mirror-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/sarah-harding-says-christmas-2020-23705955.amp?amp_js_v=a6&amp_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQHKAFQArABIA%3D%3D#aoh=16156309861961&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From %1%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2F3am%2Fcelebrity-news%2Fsarah-harding-says-christmas-2020-23705955
  5. Mitchell would call the number and then ask the punters "do you have the number I've just called? If not, why not"?
  6. Just as well it's not Gretna vs Real Madrid then because according to Tommy Sheridan, Gretna are unbeaten against the Spanish giants.
  7. Margaret Mitchell has been waiting for this day for years and she's not even put her gloves on, never mind laying a glove on her.
  8. Apropos of absolutely nothing, but it does sound a bit bizarre her referring to him constantly as "Alec". I know that "sleazy big c**t" would be a bit much for a standing Committee of the Scottish Parliament, but still.
  9. I don't know about fair and unbiased, but there is certainly no chance that the jury would not have known anything about the case. It was the only story in town at that time, with the local tabloid in particular lapping it up day after day. It would be like finding Edinburgh residents who knew nothing about the fucking trams.
  10. The two "detectives" were both investigated for fraud before leaving the service. Now keen to discredit the work of their colleagues, it would seem. It's C5 mate, the TV equivalent of the National Enquirer. Not a chance will it be any more objective. I did have a wee giggle at the maw's description of James Matthews (Sky News interviewer) though.
  11. Far be it for me to defend Tom English, but my initial thoughts were that he was surprised that the club were forking out for this kind of expense whilst hoovering up donations from the fans and generally being rooked. English has got previous this season for being critical of United, calling out the signing of McNulty etc.
  12. The final paragraph is wholly out of order. The rest does indeed sound like yer da pish, in particular re Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson. Having said that, there's a grain of a point in there that I agree with. Using Football Manager stats when referring to players and referencing clowns like Arsenal Fan TV constantly is obviously what Sky want to do, so they can charge on. It makes me (and Bill Leckie evidently) feel old, but there you go.
  13. I'm obviously biased but that's now two excellent podcasts that are done by Livi fans. I've listened to a couple of different clubs ones over the years and, while I appreciate the time and effort that any fan of any club puts in to doing this kind of stuff, TalkLivi and now the Almondview are both far better than anything else I've heard.
  14. Thanks for this Mr X, much appreciated. I'm guessing something like this would work? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/5585575?clickSR=slp:term:powerline:2:6:1 Sorry for the additional question - so, my son is in one bedroom going tonto at the lag whilst on his Xbox. He needs a wired connex. In the other bedroom, my wee girl is moaning because Unspeakable on youtube on her ipad is laggy. She needs better wifi as opposed to wired. Will I need to buy two of the above, so that i've got three pieces of kit?
  15. I'm with VM for my telly and Broadband, and have recently changed to their 300MB offering. It's their Hub 3 that I have. I stay in a pokey two bedroom hoose, and in the bedroom upstairs (router doonstairs) the wifi signal is really patchy. My teenage laddie often has issues when gaming. I've read that if the router sits next to other wifi items it can have an effect, however I've also read that the VM hub is actually shite and I should get a new router (non VM) router. What say you, good denizens of P&B?
  16. I think so. That certainly seems to be the case anyway. Nor me. Whatever their decision is today (or whenever it is decided), it should be made clear with no smoke and mirrors, leaving no room for ambiguity at all.
  17. The SFA's PR man was on Sportsound last night and if I didn't know better, he was almost forecasting what the SFA decision would be. That is, that there is nothing stopping him picking a team and doing the tactics, but that he isn't deemed suitable for being Head of Football Operations. Wouldn't surprise me one jot if this is the outcome.
  18. The aforementioned DF is also all over this thread, albeit in the dim and distant past. I vaguely recall that he did some work for/was owed money by Livi, or something like that.
