  1. Absolutely mate, it makes them mental. It's absurd, none of my lot have gone insane, they're all just delighted for us.
  2. Not even married yet but my future mother-in-law has done nothing but cause problems and upset my fiancee ever since the wedding was announced. If it were my parent I'd have (metaphorically) smacked her down as soon as it began (I'm not exactly known as the type who takes things lying down) but as it's my fiancee's mother I'm obliged to pretend it's not a problem and keep the peace. I'm very close to taking the matter on myself and dealing with it my way and to hell with the consequences. The whole point is that it's supposed to be about us, noone else's opinion should be given a second thought.
  3. If you think you're possibly bored of socialism then read any post by "uni" and his inane, childish ramblings should ensure that you're put off completely.
  4. Incorrect, as were all the others. Teuchter is west coast highlands, IE, Fort William, Oban, Ardrisaig, Campbelltown etc.
  5. Yoda is from the north east coast. "teuchter" refers to those from the north west coast.
  6. I feel like my innocence has been stolen just by reading about it.
  7. Your post intrigued me so I just wiki'd him. Wish I never did. That shit can't be unseen.
  8. Is it opposites day? OK then, I'll play: Edward Scissorhands is a brilliant film.
  9. There's no such thing I do, however, have a mate who's a mechanic and hence get all my MOT's and repairs on the cheap Might be a bit out of your way though, Dave, as he's in Dumbarton.
  10. Why anyone would recommend Leon when Fight Club is an option is beyond comprehension. Then again, someone having never seen Fight Club (or Leon for that matter) is pretty fucking odd behaviour too. Takes all sorts I suppose.
  11. I have electric heaters, I just like schooling the wee man.
  12. I see you've learned to choose your targets ;-)
  13. Not that it necessarily applies to me, but this is the crux if the matter.
  14. Why are you telling me things that I already know?
  15. Your fitting square pegs into round holes, Ad Lib. I'm not self employed so that I can earn less than NMW, I'm self employed so I can earn more, not less. As for implementing an employment tribunal, I have no just grounds (other than the need to wear a jumper) and I'm a limited company.
  16. He means well, Ruggy, but it's all still a black and white paper exercise for him. He's a very smart (and pleasant) lad, just lacking in practical experience.
  17. Ad Lib, as per, you are correct in theory, but not in practice. Something of a pattern is emerging...
  18. Cheers, Stimpy, but this mob simply don't give a f**k and my contractor status means I'll be fobbed off. Again.
  19. It does, yes, but it's cavernous. So many cubic feet of space is nigh on impossible to heat, more so given that there's no heating or insulation, it's open plan and has a huge glass entrance.
  20. I work in an office with no insulation, heating or draught proofing and last year I lost a week's wages due to the snow, not to mention the fact that my mate bought me Frightened Rabbit tickets and I couldn't get to the gig. Snow can f**k off.
  21. The word "closure" appears so many times in this thread that it has lost all meaning.
  22. I agree entirely. It was not my intention to insinuate otherwise.
