The Famous Aberdeen’s European Tour 2023/24

Definitely - one of the most obvious penalties I’ve ever seen. Just lunges in and takes him out. -

Hearts fans are the specciest fanbase in Scotland without a doubt. -

Cheers, appreciate that. I’ve an elderly relative who expressed an interest in going but looks like the chances might be faint (attends every home game but zero away). -

What would the script be for Villa (a) tickets should Hibs progress? I’m assuming there’s some sort of points system on the go - does having a season ticket for x number of years (15+) help or is it more to do with away games? -
Aye it’s been a difficult run of fixtures to start the season but draws with Tayport and East Craigie are very good results for a young side. No shame in losing to Lochee who will be up there come the end of the season. It would be good to see Scone finish above Letham, but midtable generally would be excellent progress from being the whipping boys of the league.

I think Liverpool look decent this season. They needed to refresh the midfield & the signings they’ve made in that department look really good - Caicedo would be another solid addition, even if the price is absolutely mental. Reckon they’ll get second this year. -
What a job Charlie King has done at Scone btw.

It’s pretty far off. Bayern have won it 21 times out of the last 30 years (no English team have even reached this number of league titles in the period since 1888 btw). If they don’t win it, they usually finish a close second - Man U by comparison have only won the league 13 times in the same period & then spent time not even qualifying for the Champions League. Bayern have dominated the Bundesliga to a far greater extent than any English team have the Barclays in that time period. If Kane joins Bayern he should stroll to multiple league titles, he’s also guaranteed to be playing Champions League football every season. -

Is 5 a bigger or smaller number than 1? -

Bayern have won the last 11 league titles. In the same period in England there’s been 5 different winners. It’s quite considerably more competitive and diverse than the Bundesliga. -

I see there’s a guy called ‘Lancelot’ in the u17 squad. Terrific name, would be great to get him in the full squad one day. -
The more teams the better. It was just an observation that the standard of that league has deteriorated considerably even compared to last year. Always a good thing that guys are out playing regardless though.

Looks like there will be 9 teams in div 1 & 12 in div 2 for the start of the 23/24 season. I reckon they should’ve just bumped Stanley up to make it a 10/11 split which would’ve made more sense. Rattray & Ballinluig into abeyance, with Luncarty returning & three new teams joining - Kinnoull Reds, Methven & Pitfour. The standard of that division 2 looks to be even worse than last year.
