  1. Tbf, he has lived in Scotland for longer than some players who have played under the Scottish flag.
  2. Wonder if there were many bets placed on him dying?
  3. Came on to post the same, it's one of the best things about watching sport online from American feeds. Another favourite was from a Cialis ad, "if your erection persists for more than 4 hours, seek medical attention."
  4. It was actually Christopher Marlowe who was second, but this Shakespeare chancer is trying to steal the limelight.
  5. Man Utd a goal down inside 2 minutes. Cracking finish by Angelino.
  6. Bruges rattle the bar 2 minutes into stoppage time.
  7. Lazio in real danger of shitting the bed at home against Bruges. A draw sees them through, and they were 2-1 up at half time with Bruges down to ten men. They wasted a few chances to kill it but Bruges have got it back to 2-2 and are pushing for a winner.
  8. A few bans dished out for the players who caused the Barbarians match to be called off. Barbarians: RFU bans 13 players over coronavirus breaches - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/55233540
  9. Pederson has binned Carson Wentz for this week's game, Jalen Hurts to start for the Eagles against the Saints.
  10. No idea what it said before, but this is what it looks like now.
  11. False hope as it turned out, Bills win 34-24.
  12. His year end position last year was 64th, so slightly up at the moment, which is decent going in a year hampered by both injury and scheduling wrecked by Covid. A very high finish this week could jump him up a few places, hopefully Masters qualification isn't far off.
  13. Penalty to Brighton, daft handball by Ward Prowse needlessly waving his hand around at head height. Gross dispatches the spot kick to give Brighton the lead.
  14. Robert MacIntyre up to a career high 59 on this week's OWGR. Martin Laird the only other Scot in the top 100 at 89th. You then have to look at 200 and below to find the rest of the Scots.
  15. 11 as far as I can make out. 8 Oosthuizen 10 Herbert 12 Casey 17 McIlroy 20 Rahm 35 Lowry 37 Scott 40 Finau 47 Fox 50 Ancer 56 Min Woo Lee Hovland, Willett, Stenson and Janewattananond also playing as they are in the top 75 in the OWGR but not the top 60 of the European Tour.
  16. Announced on Radio 2 a wee while ago that the total is now over 1 million.
  17. The old guard is the biggest problem at the moment, think some of them still want Pep as manager. Trouble for them is that even if he did come back (extremely unlikely imo), they couldn't play at the tempo he would want. Also, deep down Koeman knows he is probably only keeping the seat warm until a new President is elected, and the players know that too. Defensively they are shambolic. Even at their peak they weren't the greatest, leading to some CL horrors, but they got away with it for the most part then because they were so good in possession that they were never under pressure for long. Now that they can't keep the ball at the other end of the park, the defence is getting shown up.
  18. Alex Hay had the good sense to know when to retire. Alliss was never going to retire and nobody at the BBC had the balls to tell him his time was up.
  19. Kevin Sinfield runs his 7th marathon in 7 days today to raise funds for MND, inspired by his team mate Rob Burrow. His initial target was £77,777, his total raised at the moment is just over £812k.
