    Garropolo and Mostert both confirmed as out for the 49ers. Kittle and McKinnon both took a full part in practice.

    Unfortunately Paul Lawrie couldn't make the cut, bringing down the curtain on a fantastic career. The fact he has his name on that big jug makes him a bit more than just "decent" imo. He also has an excellent Ryder Cup record, with 4.5 points from 8 games in 2 appearances, but what makes that record better is that they were both in America. One of the humblest guys in the game.

    Paul Lawrie playing in his final European Tour event at the Scottish Open. Been a great ambassador for the game and for Scotland, and his foundation does a lot of great work with young golfers. Often forgotten because of van de Velde's meltdown, but Lawrie got lucky when he played the 18th in regulation, when he hit a 5 iron which bounced over the Barry Burn. He did hit this cracker in the play off though to seal his win.

    Augusta just now, with 40 odd days until the Masters. 9th and 18th greens in the middle of the picture I think with the 10th fairway bottom centre.

    New caddy for Robert MacIntyre. Heard a story about his new man Mikey Thompson who carried Brooks Koepka's bag when he played on the challenge tour, including his first pro win on Speyside. He was supposed to go to the US and Koepka took Thompson and his brother over to sort things out. Thompson and his brother go out and get pissed, get into some bother, and get arrested. Basically told any chance of getting a visa has gone and Koepka has to let him go.
