  1. Going to be a lot of fairly unfamiliar names in the top 30 for next week. Rahm now leading with only a handful of holes left for the leaders.
  2. He looks a terrific player tbf.
  3. Malan sees them safely home, England's 199 is the most runs Pakistan have ever conceded in a T20.
  4. And Moeen goes second ball. 4 down, need 14 from 14.
  5. Jinxed it, Morgan goes. 18 from 19 required.
  6. England should have been struggling to chase down 196, but Morgan has been superb after England had lost 2 in 2 balls. Malan doing well in support. Needing 18 from 22 balls.
  7. A final round 65 for Craig Howie lifts up to a tie for 5th place in the UK Championship at the Belfry. A 66 for Calum Hill gets him another top 10 to keep up a decent run of form.
  8. Our comp was cancelled today after they had to take some emergency remedial action to some of the greens which had become saturated with all the midweek rain. Still played a social round, and it was one if those strange ones where i felt i was playing shite but carded a decent score, 2 over my handicap. Putter saved me a few times, holed a load of 10-12 footers.
  9. No real surprise to hear that the reason that Ben Stokes has returned to New Zealand is because his father is ill. Ged Stokes - the father of Ben Stokes - diagnosed with brain cancer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/53953900
  10. Ollie Pope out for 4 months after dislocating his shoulder during the third test against Pakistan. He dislocated it diving on the field, and it's the second time he has popped the same shoulder so requires an op. T20 tonight against Pakistan at Old Trafford, starys at 6.
  11. Pakistan manage to hold out for a rain assissted draw, but not before Jimmy Anderson managed to pick up his 600th Test wicket, a phenomenal achievement. He was just 6 balls short of being the fastest to reach that milestone.
  12. Record low score for a tourney on the PGA Tour is 31 under, should be looking to beat that.
  13. He hardly even looked before he threw it.
  14. Wouldn't have given Pakistan a sniff of getting over 250 last night, but Azhar Ali has played a phenomenal innings. Almost got himself run out there though. Still well short of the follow on mark though at 260-8.
  15. The German lass leading the Women's Open is looking unflappable at the moment
  16. Yep, has to be some mental scarring from this. His putting was poor today, far too many putts that were well short of the hole.
  17. Great up and down on 17 for par, but an utter disaster on 18. Found the bunker off the tee, then made a huge blunder by not finding the fairway with his bunker shot. Left himself a tough shot from the rough which he thrashed at a bit and found the water. Ended up with a 7 which dropped him to T8th next to Calum Hill. Syme holds on to his US Open spot, Sebastian Soderberg was also in the top 10 on the US Open list, but an 8 on the laat drops him right down to 22nd with Justin Harding claiming 10th spot.
