  1. When Huw Jones was dragging England defenders over the try line 18 months ago you would never have thought he wouldn't make the world cup squad, but his form has fallen off a cliff this year. Horne gets the pick because he can play in a few positions imo, thought Hutchison might have done enough at the weekend to make it in. At least for a change we are debating about guys who didn't get picked, been plenty world cup squad where we were struggling to fill 31 places with decent quality.
  2. Carapaz joining Ineos next season on a 3 year deal. With 4 grand tour winners in the one team it will be interesting to see who they select for what race.
  3. He's been left out of their world cup squad with the recently capped Jean Kleyn picked instead.
  4. Yep. It does seem baffling that it appears looking at the county championship and picking the best English opener is a step too far for the selectors.
  5. Will be more than a few hours from the ones I've looked at, it does say light rain but it's to be pretty persistent throughout those two days. My mate is going down on Saturday and it looks like he will see a full day's play.
  6. It's fathers day, not husband's day. Missus shouldn't be getting you anything.
  7. India currently 464 in front with 6 wickets left. Kohli just signalled two out to the batsmen during the drinks break, so would have to guess that means 2 more overs and give them a crack at the Windies for the last hour or so. Edit: they do declare, 467 in front.
  8. Not a vintage weekend for the Scots on the tours. Jamieson and Drysdale had decent finishes at the European Masters in Switzerland, with a few other Scots making the cut but not having great weekends. On the challenge tour only Scott Henry and Craig Ross made the cut at the KPMG Trophy in Belgium, but they are both outside the top 100 in the rankings.
  9. He should. But he is wearing a green shirt.
  10. It's alright, praying to God will fix everything. After all, the thoughts and prayers have done a sterling job so far. You have to read the whole thread on this tweet.
  11. I'd agree with the other post that they could challenge for top 4. Spurs haven't looked convincing, Chelsea have no squad depth, and Arsenal's gonna Arsenal. Add to that Man Utd are still poor, and IMO I'll be surprised if Ole is still there beyond November. Leicester do need to be lucky with injuries, but if they are and Vardy has another hot season then they can definitely be up there.
  12. Langer had pretty much said at the start of the series that he would be rotating all the seamers. Tbh I thought he might have brought Starc in at Headingley with the short turn around between tests 2 and 3.
  13. Unsurprising given that his legs were exposed during the crash, but reports this morning say that Correa suffered fractures to both legs and a minor spinal injury. His condition is described as stable after undergoing surgery.
  14. India must have lost a few cheaply, they were over 400-7 last time I looked and they had just put on over 100 for the 8th wicket
  15. Texas. The state with the highest total number of guns. Where are all the good guys with their guns now?
  16. Can only think the VAR operators at the Leicester game had forgot to switch the monitors on. How they can watch that Tielamans challenge and decide it's not a red is beyond me.
  17. 49ers have placed Jerick McKinnon on season ending IR, his knee flared up in the last couple of days and in all likelihood he needs another op.
  18. It's as if they suddenly remembered the TMO was there and though they better give him some work to do.
