Last match teed off at 1.25, they are just teeing off on the 16th, will be nudging 5 hours by the time they finish this hole.

It would just be so typically England to destroy the middle order, then let the tail add 40-50 runs for the last couple of wickets.

He's getting some amount of movement in the air, 2 more lbw shouts in that over but the ball had done too much. Only downside is the lack of pace if it's not swinging, but it does show the impact having a left handed bowler can have. Felt in the last test that all England's bowlers were too similar, especially with Archer bowling at much the same speed as Broad.

So because the first group is so slow we end up with three groups on the one hole. Match 2 have been standing about waiting for the green to clear, and when it does they aren't even ready to play.

They were just saying that the projected time for the 4balls was 4hrs 35minutes, at the moment they are on 5hr 45min pace. Dreadful stuff. Apparently Salas on the US team has been given a warning and if she gets another it will result in the loss of a hole.

Root still confident he is the right man for the captaincy. With another quick turn around doubt much will change for Thursday's test, one or two players at most. Curran must be due a shot as Overton didn't do a great deal with the ball. If Curran can bowl well anywhere you would think it would be on his home ground.
