  1. Stuck a tenner on the Fakes pre-match. Just took the cash out to double my money. I'll almost certainly be lumping on Livi to qualify next weekend. When was the last time we scored a goal that wasn't an absolute gift? Edit: don't judge me; times are tight.
  2. No question it's the most broadly competitive relegation battle we've had for many years in the top flight. Loads of teams still heavily involved.
  3. No sign of the game on the High Seas, sadly, so sticking with Open All Mics. Torture, tbh.
  4. That was what I first thought, tbh. JDH as anchor with the other two playing off him. Cammy clearly in to get sharpness with next week in mind.
  5. I know mate, I was just being a dick. There'll also be journos there, too, tbf.
  6. Yep, there'll be neutrals all over the country paying £17.50 for this, I reckon.
  7. By "went down on his knees", I think you mean "flew to Europe to stalk Jack Ross on holiday like a slavering bootlicker". It was such a surefire thing a Dens poster on here changed his avatar to a picture of Ross. Good times.
  8. Got a very strong feeling towards a 1-1 here. Saw bits of the Fakes against United and they looked decent; we have been a touch off the boil. Not sure I'll watch. But I say that most weeks and end up doing so.
  9. Excellent. Now to go back in time to one of the very many free midweeks we've had recently so we can get those games played without adding to the fixture congestion.
  10. The fuckers will probably claim they've been doing it.
  11. I noted in that McCarthy interview that he too had Covid and found it tough. It's also emerged that Erwin had it. Got me wondering how many other players have had it. I'm convinced Obika had it, and see how Cammy McPherson can't get a game? Blind speculation, but I wonder if he's struggling for fitness and, far from being dropped/not trusted, they're actually looking after him a bit. Jim has name dropped him as being part the future of the club in that PDE piece, so that suggests there might be more to it, IMO.
  12. @ZingaliMan also worth considering issues with your wireless router. My wired speed is roughly 30mbps, which is decent enough for most streaming, but my router, from Plusnet, is pisspoor and signal dips in and out around the house, even when I'm only a few metres away. I would strongly recommend using a wired connection if you can - in simplest terms, plugging your device straight into your router with a cable. Sorry, well wide of topic there. To bring it back, I read a decent blog putting forward the possibility of us playing a diamond as a way of getting the best out the players we've got and solving our obvious 'final third' issues. I normally hate a diamond, but the blog is very well thought through and nicely explained. It may well be the answer to us playing two up top, not exposing the defence, and not dropping any undroppable players. https://stmirrenfc.blogspot.com/2021/01/st-mirren-switching-to-two-strikers-and.html I can't see this happening this weekend for reasons already covered, but it's certainly an option.
  13. In my very humble opinion it's been most unfair to Hearts fans that they've not actually been able to experience the novelty of a few different away days this season. So voiding certainly has its merits.
  14. Interesting. That's twice he's come out with something like that, which is unusual for a guy who's normally so cautious.
  15. I was mainly just referring to the four 'senior' leagues which, quite literally, are 'mostly continuing' (22 vs 20 clubs continuing to play). It's also ploughing on across England, too. I appreciate the cup is postponed for now.
  16. Agree. We're half-way through January and the virus is doing its absolute worst (at least I hope this is its worst), yet the football is mostly continuing. Meanwhile, the vaccine is being rolled out (actually pretty well so far, tbf). If we get the end of Jan without major call-offs or postponements, then I think the season will 100% end. Even if a break of a few weeks is required, it'll still be fine.
  17. The headline and intro of that story bear so little resemblance to the actual quotes it's fucking laughable. Yes, that's quite the 'bombshell' he's dropped there. FFS.
  18. Naw, the decision to give you the points will be made tomorrow. They're waiting till 2.55 on Saturday to say "naw, just kidding, lol."
  19. Seven minutes past six now. How long can it actually take to sweep something under the carpet? Perhaps some of the Celtic fans on here can advise.
  20. I'm not sure that's correct - the cup has its own rules, and it wasn't it explicitly stated before the cup comp started that forfeits were in action in the event of teams pulling out through Covid? (That's a genuine question, btw.) In addition, our forfeiture has arrived as a result of both being unable to field a team and breaking the rules. It seems if you break the rules, or can't field a team, in the league then it doesn't matter, as long it's not both. In the league cup, the 'breaking the rules' aspect didn't apply, it was a straightforward loss of the game if you couldn't put a team out. So there is a distinction. Simplest thing the league could have done was to announce, in advance, the same rule for all games... but they didn't. That would certainly have affected Celtic and Aberdeen in those early postponements. And at least it'd have left us with a vague chance of getting the season finished before June.
