  1. I once saw Barry Scott playing the lead in Othello.
  2. Aye alright, chill out Barry Scott.
  3. Would you be against Scott Brown taking a shite on your living room carpet and mooshing it in with your slipper?
  4. But at least you think we'll beat Israel...you're softening up Mrs Gilmour
  5. Norway actually have the more imposing home record - unbeaten in 16/18 since September 2013. Only Italy and Germany have beaten them at home during that period. Serbia had a disastrous campaign trying to qualify for Euro 2016 - but have only lost 1 of their last 12 at home since then, a 4-2 defeat to Portugal in September.
  6. ^^^ Shite attitude. (Not you @forameus xx) I've thought since Albania (h) that we were going to qualify for this tournament - still feel the same. Four months for Steve Clarke to work out a way to beat Israel at home, and then either Norway or Serbia away? I think we've got a chance. ....just don't be too quick to book flights to Belgrade...
  7. There doesn't seem to be any live coverage of this draw either on the BBC Website, or Radio Scotland?
  8. You could put a dress on and pretend in the mirror that your Billy Gilmour's English granny.
  9. O'Donnell has had a great run in the Scotland team - and I think is still worthy of a call, but yeah Palmer seems the better option at the moment. SOD is labouring through a bit of a loss of form at club level, and doesn't look entirely happy. I wouldn't discount the possibility of another huge improvement in the future and another tilt at the RB berth.
  10. I can honestly say that nobody I've ever spoken to about ticket prices, for anything, has included the booking fee. This is quite an unusual thing to get so bent out of shape about - and what is the sum total of this absolute usuary? £2.50? The tickets are priced fairly IMO.
  11. Wait....are they The Laughing Stock of Europe now?
  12. Been trying to think who the newly moustachioed Fowler reminds me of...
  13. The vegetable peeler was so named in honour of Polis-founding PM Sir Robert Peel - previously it had been known as a vegetable Skinner, in honour of the mid 90s American wrestling star of the same name, who was a popular music hall act of the time.
  14. Wednesday, I just listened online a short time ago - about a third of the way into the programme I think. It goes on for ages - it's brilliant.
  15. I really enjoyed hearing Willie Miller audibly shite himself when faced with Michael O'Neill's retort to his criticism of Austin MacPhee. What an absolute coward. "Get a life" indeed Willie.
  16. This kind of reaction definitely isn't exactly what he wants...
  17. For the money that has been spent on this team over the course of the last few seasons, the quality of performance is just appalling. As much as I love them, I don't think I've been confident of Everton winning a game for about a year now - scraping over the line against a Southampton team I'd be amazed to see survive is a perfect example of this.
  18. WTF is happening in the football? Absolutely pathetic red card for Accies.
  19. Nice to see the government leading the debate out of the gutter here...................yep. Paul Masterton is my local MP and had one of his acolytes post one of these to my recycling bin (indirectly) - utterly embarrassing. Imagine having the audacity to campaign to #getbrexitdone on a mandate of 35%, while at the same time howling at the injustice of a party identifying that a huge constitutional and political shift has occurred since a far narrowly contested issue was last referred to the public.
  20. I think it looks alright - the first images of these things always look poorer than they eventually turn out. Very 80s looking.
  21. That's certainly what has been reported, but I'm a bit dubious given the player's previous track record of ambivalence/withdrawal. After being roundly criticised in the wake of the Israel game, it seems he's not mentally up for international football, and that's fine. It's a disappointment for Scotland certainly, and I hope the player doesn't come to regret it - but I think it's best for everyone if we just move on now.
  22. Went to see this at the Playhouse at the beginning of this year. Turns out a little bit of traditional Chinese dance goes a long way....
  23. Not even going to tee up the potential injury issues as a prospective excuse, we're not as pathetic as the Hearts support. We really need to get back on track after two disappointing results, I foresee a similar game to the win over St Mirren - with hopefully the same outcome. Hopefully we can get into the international break at the 20 point mark.
