Serbia had a disastrous campaign trying to qualify for Euro 2016 - but have only lost 1 of their last 12 at home since then, a 4-2 defeat to Portugal in September.

O'Donnell has had a great run in the Scotland team - and I think is still worthy of a call, but yeah Palmer seems the better option at the moment. SOD is labouring through a bit of a loss of form at club level, and doesn't look entirely happy. I wouldn't discount the possibility of another huge improvement in the future and another tilt at the RB berth.

I can honestly say that nobody I've ever spoken to about ticket prices, for anything, has included the booking fee. This is quite an unusual thing to get so bent out of shape about - and what is the sum total of this absolute usuary? £2.50? The tickets are priced fairly IMO.

For the money that has been spent on this team over the course of the last few seasons, the quality of performance is just appalling. As much as I love them, I don't think I've been confident of Everton winning a game for about a year now - scraping over the line against a Southampton team I'd be amazed to see survive is a perfect example of this.

That's certainly what has been reported, but I'm a bit dubious given the player's previous track record of ambivalence/withdrawal. After being roundly criticised in the wake of the Israel game, it seems he's not mentally up for international football, and that's fine. It's a disappointment for Scotland certainly, and I hope the player doesn't come to regret it - but I think it's best for everyone if we just move on now.
