  1. What I was commenting on, fairly obviously I thought, was the fact that football clubs don't automatically consider this kind of behaviour - and much worse besides - to be terminal in the career of a young footballer. Evidenced by the fact that we - by which I mean Kilmarnock Football Club (such is the way that people in the UK colloquially tend to describe the team they support...) signed a different footballer with a worse record than this - before this incident occurred... The morality that you and I exist in was not in the context of this discussion, and I think it's pretty baffling - not to mention total bawbag behaviour - to try and portray me as some fucking domestic violence apologist purely for bringing to your attention that football clubs don't give a shit.
  2. Like we didn't you mean? I don't really - so many players have been found guilty of far far worse and picked up clubs. I think it would be a completely different matter if he was a notoriously bad trainer let's say - but not anything like the above.
  3. What on earth has this got to do with anything? Hardly stacks up against what Callum McFadzean was convicted of, and we were happy enough to hand him a contract...
  4. Hardly. When you see some of the absolute dross we signed after he left - and some of the ones that keep getting clubs, I don't see how you can write the boy off quite so abruptly.
  5. I liked him and was surprised when we released him. Very raw, but seemed full of industry and directness - although not as good as what we had coming through in Frizzell and Hawkshaw. I've no clue why someone didn't at least take a chance on him last year - fingers crossed he does well at EEP.
  6. I'm not entirely sure what to make of the trust's recent campaign, or the concept of fan representation in the boardroom at all to be honest. We don't know who the appointed director would be, and there's an enormous assumption that his/her (although I'm presuming it'll be Cathy Jamieson tbh) views will necessarily reflect my own. I wouldn't rule out investing, but I don't think we've really been sold the idea at all. I'd be keen to know the views of some fellow supporters on the subject? FWIW I also think the slogan that they've chosen "Call Yourself a Supporter" is pretty inflammatory.
  7. Pass. I felt he flattered to deceive in his last spell with us. 1 goal and 1 assist in about 25 games was the stat if I recall.
  8. Coulibaly's getting some very public pelters from what appear to be other Al Ahly players on twitter. I'm not sure I've seen anything like this before.
  9. I wouldn't imagine his departure has any impact on what we're owed in this transfer - having said that, I think we actually got the vast majority of it (if not all of it) up front.
  10. Didn't even know he was eligible. Maybe they need another Killie player to fire them into a major tournament...
  11. Brilliant description KME, my first season was 92/93 and I can remember the positivity - staying up against the odds the following year and being tremendously unfortunate not to play the cup final with TB in charge also a big memory. I cringe now at the memory of the Judas Burns shite that followed his move back to Parkhead in the summer of 1994 - a world away from the kind of veneration his name receives now within the support. Great guy.
  12. The wee team have been giving him a great write up recently
  13. I just found out that we released Josh Webb, Jamie Cobain, Nathan Tyson, Callum McFadzean and Dapo Kayode...three weeks ago.
  14. This is being reported as though Partick Thistle own the new development, but my understanding is that it's a leasing arrangement? Any jags know the score?
  15. Male lion at that. c**t was probably either verbally abusing his lioness, or denying cheating on her while she was trying to get the cub's outfits ready for World Book Day. You can't hide those lion eyes...
  16. He's scored quite a number of goals this season, I can only think they've altered his position slightly - I'd be surprised if he didn't get a bigger move in the summer. Always liked Irvine. While he definitely didn't show the same quality at Killie as he did with you guys, his effort and attitude were excellent.
  17. Together, we can end Birkenhead wrist in our lifetime.
  18. Phone just chirped for a text during a boring Friday at work...got a bit excited until it turned out it was Indian Grill informing me of their current offers...
