  1. To where? I really like the guy, and I truly think he's a potentially pivotal appointment - but let's not kid ourselves on, LC needs us as much as we need him. If we're relegated and he resigns - and I don't think either will happen - what is his next appointment? His last three won't exactly look too appealing.
  2. WRK I'm not subscribing to the idea that the transmission of Rangers vs Celtic is going to have the slightest impact on the numbers of supporters from the town for either side. QLP's point about Clark being an asset is bang on, and your idea about community engagement is fantastic - but that's not being debated as a mutually exclusive alternative here. On the basis of what's been presented, the only issue is us advertising for an unrelated business free of charge.
  3. For me the biggest, and really only, isdue that's come out of this is that we're using an official club media channel to advertise a business that we get no income from. Are we sure that this is the case? As for the choice of game, I'm still ambivalent. That it's the OF derby that's being shown is no different to a Premiership or La Liga game.
  4. Hope she washed her hands before going back to Asda. The effects of caffeine on someone that age...
  5. Hardly. They're showing a Scottish football match on TV on a weekend when we're not playing. With everything that you could feasably rip us about at the moment, it's a curious thing to alight upon. Must try harder.
  6. Totally agreed. We've been shite for nearly three years uninterrupted, I feel there's more of an obvious plan from Clark in the short time he's been there than in all that time before.
  7. We certainly used to zero budget cup competitions, which would pretty much cover all you've mentioned and more. Also, any figures in the accounts for legal fees, and specific charges relating to AJ's departure would be broadly reflective, if not slightly more than anything we paid for Gary Locke. I don't have access to the accounts, but if there was to be a concern about the going concern assumption from any point from reporting date to now, it would have to be added. Is it just that line from the Auditors, or is there more?
  8. Certainly explains the increase in legal fees in that case. In terms of the auditor's note on the club's status as a going concern, I think we've probably had a reasonable year from that perspective. We must have msde something in the region of £350-400k from the two Rangers games alone, and I feel there would have been more visible symptoms if the situation had worsened over the subsequent twelve months. Any adjusting notes on events after the reporting date?
  9. Not yet. I have him at 10 caps since joining Killie, Joe Nibloe had 11 for Scotland around the beginning of the 20th century.
  10. Hasn't done it unfortunately, I've heard he's been told he can leave the club in the summer.
  11. Mulgrew I thought was in the last year of his contract? If so, I can't see him being offered another.
  12. I'd take him at Kilmarnock for definite albeit he's been quite shaky at times, not least when Locke played him at full back. He's obviously got a great deal of potential, especially as he gets older and bulks up a bit. I didn't know he was out of contract at the end of the season, I'd be surprised if Celtic were to let him go considering the problems they've had at centre half this year.
  13. Years ago I used to listen to a guy called Mike Mendoza on the radio. I think his show was between 12-3am and I used to fucking hate him. Nevertheless I continually tuned in, almost savouring my own seethe. This wee guy has the same effect. I think I've seen all his videos, presented in the trademark inarticulate style. His saccharine "everyone is beautiful" routine drives me fucking mental - but yet I keep watching them...
  14. Don't focus too much on short term goals. This is a change in lifestyle and it won't happen immediately. Sounds like you're doing well.
  15. No great loss. Barbour another victim of post Shiels mismanagement. He hasn't been good enough in the last 2-3 seasons. Shame.
  16. Irvine was atrocious when he started with us, although it was clearly a symptom of the fact he had never really played senior football before. As the season went on he improved, and by the time Boyd dug us out the mire in our last two games of the season, big Jackson was one of our absolute key players. Delighted for what he's gone on to achieve at County, and he seems like a player that will go on even further - but let's not kid ourselves on, there were upwards of a dozen games where he was the worst player in a horrendous Kilmarnock team.
