  1. The Woman in Black by Susan Hill. Enjoyed it but for me the play was better, which is pretty unusual for an adaptation.
  2. The B teams are already planning for next season in the Lowland League from what I've heard.
  3. Not 100% sold on this, but probably the best option available with the cap mess. We'll see how it goes, I'll be in London cheering the team on regardless.
  4. Oh I know that, but they'd potentially enter at the prelim round, rather than the First. It's not necessarily a big deal, was just listing off the differences
  5. Anyone else like to pretend they're cultured and go to the theatre? Me and Mrs the Hunter have tickets booked for Waitress at the King's next month. Heard a few of the songs from it and they're really good, so looking forward to it.
  6. Other than guaranteed entry to the first round of the Scottish, and potentially entry to the Challenge Cup (for a very select few at the top) no very much. But that guaranteed first round entry is a pretty big carrot at that level.
  7. They'll clearly be using MLS Next Pro as a testing ground for tweaks before seeing if they'll work in MLS proper. I've got no real problem with them using shootouts for a bonus point if they want to, but it's VERY American of them.
  8. Comfortable as it comes for Darvel tonight. I have a strong feeling they could have found another gear if they needed to.
  9. Rutherglen Glencairn 1-3 Darvel. A comfortable win for Darvel. I have the feeling they could have found another gear if they needed to. Did have their captain sent off late on though, I assume he'll miss their game with Rossvale on Wednesday.
  10. From my experience, a good 85% of the guys on these organised groundhop trips are utter weirdos. I like visiting a new ground as much as anyone, but some of the "rules" they set are absolutely bonkers.
  11. Decent kellerbier from Truber. Decent but my least favourite from the Beer52 box so far.
  12. Glasgow City 2-0 Partick Thistle Women Thistle fought hard but were undone by two moments of real quality from City in the glorious sunshine at Petershill.
  13. Glasgow City 2-0 Partick Thistle Women Thistle fought hard but were undone by two moments of real quality from City in the glorious sunshine at Petershill.
  14. Another week, another cracker from Overtone. Looks like a NEIPA, tastes more like a West Coast IPA. Delightful stuff.
  15. Enjoyable NEIPA from North. Available in Asda of all places.
  16. Valr of Leven 2-2 Ardrossan Winton Rovers Honours even between these two sides for the second time this season. Glorious day for a game, we only seem to play Ardrossan in the sunshine
  17. Reckon you'll have Winston back now. Aye I would think so. Not great, but will see if he can manage to stay healthy for a full year and see what he can do.
  18. Mrs The Hunter is going out on April 23rd and the Vale's season will be finished, so looking at Dundee North End v Scone Thistle that afternoon. What can I expect both ground wise and game quality wise?
  19. Napier use Ainslie Park for BUCS games, so that would be a non starter I'd imagine.
  20. Delighted Watson hasn't gone to the Saints tbh. Would have been an upgrade at QB without a doubt, but clearly a scumbag.
  21. Pretty fantastic sour from Vault City. Available in Tesco for anyone interested.
  22. Rossvale 1-5 Vale of Leven A dominant performance from start to finish from the Young Vale who on another night could have had far more than five goals. Very satisfying start to the weekend.
  23. Is International Starters still there? Nothing fancy but I enjoyed it when I went (admittedly probably over ten years ago now). Not really walking distance from the Royal Mile right enough.
