A rare Sunday night Overtone. Brilliant as usual.

Sunday session time since it's still my birthday weekend.

First beer for me from Ampersand and on this strength I'll buy from them again. Very enjoyable sour.

I've seen Thistle a couple of times this season and they look a decent side. Considering they only got promoted at the last minute because Forfar Farmington dropped out, they've competed very well and have been an excellent addition to the league.

I've got that in my cupboard after finding it in Morrisons, looking forward to getting to it. Another one from Beer52 Ireland box for me just now. Pretty good.

My dad stopped by with this for my birthday today. Says it's one of his favourites, and we have pretty similar tastes in whisky so looking forward to cracking into it.

Bathgate Thistle 0-5 Lothian Thistle Hutchinson Vale. Not the best game as the visitors dominate pretty much from start to finish.

SWPL1 going up to twelve teams from.next season. Play each other twice then spilt and play each other twice again for 32 games. No relegation this year and two coming up from SWPL2. SWPL2 will be 8 teams, playing each other four times. Championship North and South winners coming up with the runners up playing off to see who joins them. Going forward bottom of SWPL1 will go down automatically with SWPL2 winners going up. Second bottom will play off against second top of SWPL2. Bottom of SWPL2 go down with the Championship winner coming up. Unclear if that's still going to be regionalised or if they're going all in.

Vale of Leven 3-1 Yoker Athletic. Another excellent performance from the Young Vale as the winning run continues. Fantastic momentum going into another big cup.game next week.

They Said They Wanted Revolution by Neda Toloui-Semnani. I really enjoyed the first 75% of the book which talked about the author's family escaping the Iranian Revolution in the early 80s. But I struggled with the last part, which were diary entries about her life, I found it a bit self-indulgent and not in keeping with the tone of the first part.

Heading to Bathgate Thistle v LTHV on Saturday since the Vale are off. New ground to tick off for me. What's the parking like around Creamery Park, and probably more importantly, what are the pies like?

Just bought tickets for The Menzingers at the Barrowlands in October. Supported by Joyce Manor. Love both bands and never seen either of them before, really looking forward to it.
