  1. Fantastic NEIPA from Northern Monk, Overtone and Neon Raptor. Overtone in Tesco, what a time to be alive!
  2. Yoker Athletic u20s 1-6 Clydebank u20s. A comfortable victory for the "visitors" at Holm Park. Big shout out to the group of boys in the stand who's pal was playing. Nothing but abuse aimed at him the whole game!
  3. Demon by Matt Wesolowski. The sixth in the Six Stories series, which is fiction presented as a true crime podcast. Works really well on audio. Probably the weakest of the series so far, but still a very enjoyable read.
  4. Glasgow City 2-0 Celtic Women. A deserved victory for City who also hit the bar twice. Game marred a bit by a serious looking injury to Celtic keeper Chloe Logan late on.

  6. One DI team should be plenty. There's quite a lot of non-conference games throughout the season, and there's the Bowl games and the Playoff as well. I've got the DI Washington Huskies and the DIII Pacific Lutheren Lutes as my college teams, hadn't thought about picking a DII team but may look into it!
  7. Rangers Women 4-0 Hamilton Academical Women. Not a great game, Rangers didn't get out of second gear because they didn't have to. As comfortable as it comes. Most notable moment of the night was Kirsty Howat returning after a year out injured, and scoring on her return.

  9. Found an Overtone out in the wild at F Pizza in Milngavie. As usual it's fantastic.
  10. Heading to Berlin for a few days in July. Hoping to get to a pre-season friendly or two, visiting Sachsenhausen concentration camp and Museum Island and probably revisit the zoo. As the forum knows all too well, I'm into my craft beer, so does anyone have any bar recommendations? I'll probably be happy just drinking proper German beer, but if there's anywhere that stands out I'm happy to hear about it!
  11. The Black Isle Pub is absolutely fantastic. Pizzas are great and they have a superb selection of beers, their guest tap list when I was up in November was top notch. Excellent choice of venue.
  12. Relatively happy with the Dennis Allen appointment, he's been a solid DC. Will be very interested to see who he goes for/brings in at QB. It's a talented Saints roster all over the field, but the QB position was an absolute mess this season.
  13. Just bought a ticket for the "Arnold Clark Cup" game between Germany and Spain in Middlesborough next Thursday at 2.30. England and Canada also playing at 7.30, but don't fancy driving up the road after that. Great chance to see two of the best teams in the world in action.
  14. Once again I'm mystified that Brianna Westrup hasn't been picked, consistently the best defender in the SWPL. I'd say he wants to have a look at Logan to see if she's a better option going forward that Cumings, no harm in having them both in the squad for me, but wouldn't be picking 4 for further squads.
  15. Postponed games from the weekend there rearranged for the next round date of 5th March. Which will obviously push most of the fifth round back as well.
  16. I've not seen anything about it being on TV, but BBC Scotland sometimes pick up games last minute for streaming, so it's possible.
  17. Kyler Murray has apparently unfollowed the Cardinals on Instagram and deleted all Cardinals related content. Must be a slow news day for the Athletic, but could be potentially interesting.
  18. They're definitely in the driving seat, but a lot of football still to be played. I'll be at both Rangers v Hamilton and Glasgow City v Celtic this midweek, will be good to see all of the top 3 in action. And just bought a ticket to the Women's Old Firm in the cup on Sunday. Looking forward to a good week of women's football.
  19. Rangers Women 3-1 Glasgow City A dominant display from Rangers despite having goalkeeper Jenna Fife sent off after 68 minutes. The win takes them two points clear with a game in hand.

  21. Vietnam qualify for the World Cup by winning the 3 team round Robin playoff for 5th place St the Asian Cup. The final is taking place just now between China and South Korea. 0-0 with just about half an hour played.
