Update: The coffee bags are pretty good, not the best coffee I've ever had but definitely a huge upgrade on instant.

Petershill 3-3 Partick Thistle Youth XI. Monday night mid-season friendly at Petershill. Decent game. Petershill deservedly led 2-0 at half time, but the very young Thistle side came out like a train after the break and raced into a 3-2 lead before being pegged back. A bizarre ending when the ref blew for full time eight minutes early when he was informed they only had the pitch booked until half 8. Why they didn't just play two forty minute halves I don't know!

Just found out Freesports are carrying the Asian Women's Cup. Currently watching Indonesia v Thailand. 0-0 after 25 minutes, Indonesia under pressure but not conceding like they did against Australia.

Just saw the highlights of KC v Buffalo. Looked like another absolutely wild game. What a weekend of football.

Rangers Women 2-1 Hibernian Women. Probably the biggest game in Scotland today and it didn't disappoint. Hibs deservedly led at the break but Rangers were much improved after half time and probably did enough to earn the three points even if the penalty from which the equalised was extremely soft (a true Chris Gentles special).

Got some of these to take to work to use instead of instant. I'll probably take pelters off my colleagues for being a snob, but should be worth it!

In the bar at the football club. £3 a pint, no complaints.

Good wee session IPA from Gipsy Hill. Another good find in Tesco, who have a really good selection just now for anyone that's popping in.

Decent pilsner from Tolokazi. Nothing groundbreaking but tasty enough.

My mum had a similar mindset. Remember her managing to freeze a pair of jeans because she insisted in hanging them outside in the middle of winter.

Maryhill 4-2 Maybole. An entertaining game. Maybole were two up just after half time and looked in total control. Maryhill found another gear and turned it round to 3-2 in a superb ten minute spell before adding a fourth in stoppage time. Excellent entertainment throughout.

Aye, all very good breweries. I've liked everything I've had from Vocation, probably the best at producing supermarket beers. Vale game is off today so I've come to Maryhill. They have no breakfast pies on today due to a supply issue so I'm consoling myself with a pint of T.

I quite like most Brewdog beers and I've been to their bars a good few times - although I usually drink through their "guest beer" lists that are usually superior. Definitely wankers, but I still buy their stuff from time to time, so what that says about me I don't know. But as stated, in Scotland alone you have Overtone, Fallen, 72, Brew Toon, Bellfield etc that are all probably better beers and better people - especially Overtone, they can do no wrong.

Enjoyable hazy pale ale by Vocation. Got a four pack in Tesco earlier, so I'm glad it's good!

Vale of Leven 4-1 Glenvale. A good win and passage to the Third Round of the Knockout Cup for the Young Vale.

I assume Indonesia had to qualify for this tournament? That's an absolute howler of a scoreline.

I drink instant coffee at work because I find it to be better than nothing. But its usually one of the more expensive instants. I have thought about investing in coffee bags to take in, might actually see if I can get some over the weekend and give them a go.
