  1. Ineligible, unless you can't get a ticket because people can't read your writing .
  2. We're going to absolutely pump Cyprus. I haven 't felt this good about a Scotland team in my lifetime. I hope he plays the 21s against England so that we don't get any injuries. I would love the seethe about the lack of respect shown too. That would be delicious. I think we'll take England too. We're unbeatable at the moment.
  3. If the chippy is still wrapped I see no problem here. Are they supposed to eat it the moment they get it or can't they convey it to their hoose to wolf it down?
  4. Hickey thread for all of this utter pish.
  5. You joke, but you know that now the stats virgins will pounce on that as a valued metric to judge a player.
  6. It seems to have gotten lost in the maelstrom of @Monkey Tennis' Midlothian malaise, but I was appalled at this article. I don't know where to start as it reads like it's been written by a 9 year old. It's a concatenation of stupid ideas and even stupider supposition. Utter, utter shite. I mind when the Herald used to be a proper paper, with articles written by people whose literacy and knowledge were evidenced through erudition and craft. Hugh McDonald was a huge favourite of mine, but there were many others. Nowadays we get youngsters writing superficial junk with no flair, craft or active consideration for the reader. The corrections in the article are an act of deckchair rearrangement and nothing more. The correct course of action would have been eliminating any trace that the article ever existed. Utter shite.
  7. That was a genuinely exciting watch.
  8. tbf I prefer receiving voice notes to texts if I'm in the house. I also don't enjoy texting, Saying that, I often take about three takes to record a voice note as I end up rambling too much. I dare say the beloveds of the complainants here don't exercise such restraint and self awareness.
  9. Thon p***kly anes, preferably. E.T.A censorious b*starts.
  10. I fuckin hate Airdrie and am disappointed to be missing this. Welcome back lads. I hope you stay longer this time.
  11. He broke his leg in two bits. I don't imagine he'll be back anytime soon whether to Hearts of Midlothian of Kelty. If you think he'll be back sooner or higher then I would love to see your working on the "probably" bit. I'd genuinely love to be wrong as I love CG.
  12. Do we look like scoring any more? Derek Ferguson is now talking about anything but this match which tells me it's rather died on its arse.
  13. Not wishing to derail this absolutely sterling thread, but I had a look and he was in neither matchday squad.
  14. Aye it will and that's no bad thing. McCrorie wasn't one of the 23 selected for that double header, for what it's worth. I think the fact that the only player injured (Hanley) is one for whom we have adequate replacement and the other injuries are to players who are done (Gordon, sadly...I hope I'm wrong) is pretty encouraging.
  15. I quite like Alfie's videos and this, as far as I can see, is a well researched and concise look at the precarity and unsustainability of the Skybet Championship. Most clubs spending 150% of their revenue on wages is bonkers, but it also has serious implications for the game up here, given how many championship teams take players from our league on the promise of wages that they can't afford.
  16. I wish it was but it isn't. It's presented as an objective measure which is obviously silly (as well as boring). But aye, the technological savvy that the youngsters have gives them a disproportionately large voice online so can then shape the culture around football more than we'd like. I sound fuckin ancient.
  17. Ross McCrorie doesn't play for Scotland, thankfully. I would honestly suggest that Gordon doesn't either any more. Looking at that list in light if that makes for very pleasant reading.
