  1. Are Caley steaming this one? And if so, are you still using that Pixellot shite?
  2. I don’t think I’ve interacted with you before, but you come across as a complete fanny.
  3. That’ll be because it’s obvious nonsense.
  4. I dunno, it seems a bit harsh to criticise Clarke for calling up someone who at least plays right back to cover right back, rather than a centre half who’s definitely worse than at least 3 of the current squad at are centre half.
  5. I probably wouldn’t be using Ethan Ampadu as your shining example, since he’s fucking shite.
  6. Has Souttar, at any point in his entire career, played right back?
  7. Manager for the national team of San Marino or Andorra or the like - assuming the pay was ok. Basically no expectations on you and only have to bother doing anything a couple of days a month, at most.
  8. We were playing against Moldova, the fifth worst team in Europe, on Saturday, so he probably felt a bit more relaxed in that regard. I think looking over the rest of his tenure, you’ll see that when it comes down to it, he picks experience more often than not. I don’t really have a problem with Patterson being fast tracked into the squad, given our other options there. It’s no like he’s being picked over outstanding players at a high level, is it? Edit: and just for what it’s worth, Anthony Ralston is still pish, and his recent purple patch doesn’t change that. Should be nowhere near a Scotland squad.
  9. Clarke obviously prefers experience, so I’m not certain why anyone is shocked by the McGinn call up. It’s not the call I’d have made, and I’d far rather Ramsay in there but its clear why Clarke has picked a 30 year old unspectacular right back over an 18 year old potentially very good right back. On another note, I’m pleased there’s now no way that we’ll have to watch Kenny McLean playing tomorrow.
  10. There’s loads of examples of a group of people using a word to describe themselves being ok, but other groups using it not being ok because of the different context in which it’s used. The N word, for one. Or queer, where LGBT+ people identifying as queer is obviously fine, but if I started calling someone a queer, then that’s not fine.
  11. From the outside looking in, it’s comfortably his habit of saying “not making excuses” or similar, before saying that you lost because Reece Cole’s cat was unwell so training was unsettled or something equally ridiculous.
  12. Don't think I could really say no. Might win some shit with them that'd be nice. Plus, they have this boy who seems to be a fucking ludicrous player.
  13. This game is mental. Hot on the heels of not being offered an interview by some mid table Bosnian mob, I've been offered the job at twice in a row European champions Germany. Genuinely not sure what to do. Quite enjoying my Latvia team, despite them being shite, and would honestly regard qualifying for anything with them as one of my proudest achievements in FM. That said, it's unlikely to happen and I did say I wanted to win some international competitions. And it's fucking Germany.
  14. June 2064 A couple more friendlies with Latvia, and two very respectable wins. Both of these sides are ranked higher than we are, with Liechtenstein all the way up in 106th (we're joint 163rd) for reference. I'm hoping that these wins will help propel us up the rankings, and that get me into a higher pot for qualifying groups, and allow me to actually win some games in them, but I'm not even sure if that's how they decide the pots or not. Ach, it can't hurt and shows that we can definitely compete with teams around about us in the rankings at the very least. No club job yet.
  15. Merani have another league title, and two cup wins since I left which seems to be the best of any of them. I unload the leagues once I'm done with them to make the game go faster, so it might be different if I didn't do that.
  16. They have an absolute diddy for a manager, basically. Fron the punditry yesterday, they seem to be playing well against decent teams, but ultimately losing, and then following that up with a disgraceful performance against shite teams and also losing. And there’s a real lack of goals in the squad. It makes ours look prolific. Top scorer is James McClean with 11, then Shane Duffy has 5. Their forwards have 62 caps between them, and have managed 5 goals. James Forrest has that many international goals.
  17. We weren’t great and it still should have been about 7-0. Desperately need someone with composure in front of goal.
  18. @RandomGuy. what’s our xG to actual goals ratio like? It must be laughably bad.
  19. *insert St Johnstone player* would have scored that
  20. I share the concern, but at the same time Moldova are an absolute gang.
  21. Aye, I think we’ve been fine but not great, and it should still be at least 3-0.
  22. Been a bit flat. I’d take off Christie, who has been completely anonymous, and stick on Turnbull.
  23. Its always inside of the boot, bit of curl on the ball, well over the bar. He’s brilliant at getting into those positions though, just a shame he does that every time
  24. Robertson absolutely loves sticking it over the bar.
