I didn’t see it that way at all. Bo’ness weren’t great first half but wouldn’t say they were a disjointed mess, I’d say a young strong Edinburgh Uni side deserve credit for relentless pressing and not giving the BU players time on the ball. As for the bad finishing, yes there were a couple of fluffed shots by Zander, but you’re doing the Edinburgh goalie a disservice as the majority of shots were on target and only missed because he made countless good saves. Their goalie was without doubt the MOTM. By a country mile.

The most disappointing aspect is the few (albeit very few) who have opted to go watch the other team when their and our fixtures don’t even clash.

I was at both of these but have to disagree. I was up in the gods at the Hydro but thought the sound was excellent. Yeah it was a bit bass heavy for the opening Hardwired, but their sound team seemed to have it sorted about 30 seconds into Atlas Rise. The remainder of the gig I thought the sound was excellent. As for SECC 2009, I thought the sound was absolutely atrocious. Those tin box halls were always hit or miss with metal bands though. For every great sounding gig I’ve seen at the SECC there’s been an awful one.

I actually prefer Fear overall. TWD was on about season 5(?) by the time I decided I was gonna start watching it, just as Fear was first being released. So as a late starter to the whole TWD world, I read online that timeline-wise Fear came first at the onset of the zombie apocalypse so I decided to watch it first then batter through OG TWD between series of Fear.

Watched the first one then the second one after reading all the hype about idiot yanks passing out, throwing up or getting that hysterical they needed medical attention from watching this sequel to a movie I’d never heard of. Thought the first film was worse in the gore stakes. That scene you mentioned in the second one does go on a bit. The second movie is way longer than it should be despite Art The Clown being an absolutely wonderful character. What a lot of utter pish though!
