I'd be doubtful if Christophe was to still be coaching at Hearts. He may be, but given how he was sidelined by Neilson last year it may be a good reason for leaving. I would think it unlikely he's involved there. Plus he is full time with us.
Totally agree. The guy is indeed a class act. Both Dave Narey and Bobby Evans were thought to be past it but look what they contributed to their respective Rovers' teams in the seasons they played for us.
Christophe is not the fastest that I'll grant you but he makes up for it through huge experience. His positional play is usually very good and he is an organiser passing on his experience to the younger guys. If he was pushing and pulling strikers he wouldn't be the first of many but why wasn't he booked if this was the case?
Someone might pay bucks but not big bucks for a wee housing development. No names no packdrill but my mind wanders to the housing development where the Seafield once stood.
Hope that disnae come back to bite you and the rest of us on the bum. One saving grace it that it's an artificial grass surface. We might be able to get a passing game going depending on the quality of said surface.
It's going to be a night of rain but not necessarily too cold if the forecast is accurate. A tie both teams could probably do without given the upcoming weekend's fixtures.
Bump! Quarter finals time. The interest in this pretty much non existent. The only interest I have is to see if we can finally end the Inverness hoodoo after 20 odd years. Much prefer it though if it went in the league games later in the season.
Sad to hear about Doug Cowie. Spent a year managing/coaching Raith when I was in my early teens. I went on to know his son when we played football for Aberdeen University football club. Doug Jnr for the first team. Me for the third team He then also played for Spartans after he graduated.
