  1. It's a tough game with maybe a wee bit of afters still hanging around, but I'd like to think that we might just have enough to scrape through and to keep the run going at least to Inverness next Tuesday where we know what to most likely expect. Falkirk will be well fired up for this and we just need to remember what we did to the Pars when the teams were in different divisions with us in the lower one. Wouldn't be surprised if it went to a replay which is not what is needed given the upcoming fixtures we have.
  2. You could always depend on a decent launch in Arbroath in days gone by. Seamlessly slipping into the sea. Could be either the fitba' or the boatyard.
  3. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/heartbroken-scott-calderwood-says-dad-25504280 Horrible state of affairs. You can only extend sympathy to his family.
  4. Did someone say Darren Young is a possibility to be the next Ayr manager?
  5. Needing a new manager? Darren Young now available
  6. Ok. I'll try again. Will it be a WINdy experience? Obviously the little emojis have caused confusion.
  7. Some of the passing at times is sublime. For example in the lead up to the equaliser. We really should have put them to the sword in the second half. A bit unlucky at times with goal line clearances and hitting the woodwork. Time to move on now. It's in the record books as a home win and is now history. Well done on a good win guys.
  8. If we'd scored a third today instead of hitting the bar then we'd have been top. If we hadn't collapsed in the last twenty minutes against Accies to draw 4-4 we'd be in a strong position at the top, etc., etc. We can all use the "what ifs". There's a long way to go. It's only the middle of November. Nonetheless, well done on a fine result today. It has helped meantime to keep things close at the top
  9. Not "could be" BA, but "are". Get through them unscathed and we may well have something here.
  10. We can make the exact same claim. The 4-4 collapse to Accies on day one has currently cost us going top but the inability to keep a clean sheet in most games can also be said to do the same. There's a long way to go but as long as we're flying below the radar so much the better. Long may the west coast media bias of the Killie love in continue for now.
  11. You've obviously written part of the script for The Messiah's post match interview.
  12. From bottom to sixth in one fell swoop! A crazy league indeed! Well done guys. You'll definitely be fine by Christmas.
  13. Won't disagree. Just would like to see him get a few goals himself. Would give the lad a boost.
  14. He may well be intelligent at holding up the ball and playing in others but his strike rate isn't exactly prolific.
  15. They're meant to be to retain possession but we're not very good at them. The alternative is this from today's updates. 28 Zanatta from the corner gets the ball to the far side of the Morton box, to no-one.
  16. Is the Morton bus already parked? Wouldn't surprise me if it was.
  17. It's going to be one of these days. Morton to put up the shutters and score again on the break whilst we manage diddly squat all afternoon. We just don't do clean sheets in Kirkcaldy.
  18. Imperative that we keep Gozi well shackled this afternoon. Can't be bothered with the usual guff of returning player back to inevitably score against former employers.
  19. I said "yet be" because you were really struggling up to Christmas the other season until Boxing Day in Kirkcaldy. One away win and your season turned around a fair bit back then. Still time yet maybe?
  20. You weren't even that good to be honest. It could yet be a long season for the folks of Dumfries.
  21. Same surface for both teams so just go with the other two.
