Sounds like we’ve got a puckle of trialists in and that’s our lot.

Been reported in our local paper that you have made an enquiry to Peterhead to take in Shane Sutherland on loan. This was rejected but club indicated they may come back with an offer. Elgin have had a bid rejected and Cove are expected to make one.

They all want to be winning the league but play off games that is the problem. By accident I mean winning play offs when they don’t really want to but also want to avoid allegation that they didn’t try to hard.

HL is quite happy with the status quo they have now. Don’t think there are any clubs now in HL with any ambition to join the SFL. There is no appetite with member clubs for reconstruction unless forced on them by SFL. I think it will be a number of years before you see another HL club promoted unless by accident!

Anything’s possible at Elgin!!

You still got Sutherland? Has he been training with anyone? Rumour in Elgin was that he was wanting back but nae sight nor sound of him there.

Elgin have signed Connor OKeefe.

His partner works for the club hence the reason he is about the place. Tatters was sick of him, mind you he doesn’t hold the purse strings.

Connor O’Keefe apparently signing for Elgin. He be any good in Division 2?

Did hear he was back begging for Elgin to sign him. Would have thought thrice bitten! but with the lack of other signings they must be desperate.

Is that Connor O, Keefe from Stranraer?

Given the financial strife at ICT can see them in League 1 in next couple of years and then who knows with their paltry support. Could add Ross County when Global Energy hit a downturn, maybe not in the immediate future but bound to come. In 20 years time you could have a HL with ICT, County and Elgin in it.!!

No doubt it can affect confidence that’s why we need to play some of the smaller teams in friendlies. Helps with fitness and defensive side of things as well imo. Anyhow we need a team first!

Better than meaningless friendlies against Ross County and Caley and maybe get a decent crowd depending on who we get at home.

He’ll do the dirty side ok, my doubt would be his distribution but can see him sitting deep and breaking up play if he can discipline himself enough. The way the manager is speaking he sees him as an attacking threat though so that beggars the question who is going to sit in, Soapy? Surely not. Early days I know and the manager may have some irons in the fire but I worry about his connections and ability to attract players. With the signing of so many local lads we are maybe preparing for life in the HL!

Don’t agree with ‘very talented’ He had a great three quarters of a season hasn’t done much since injury comeback, attitude or injury? He was working for the Mchardys while in Elgin, didn't turn up for them half the time. See Morrison off to Brora. Wondered who McKay was looking at when he was at Berwick game. Heard Buckie were after him.
