  1. I think that, as in all forums, there does appear to be a whiff paranoia or conspiracy theory with that username. Wasn't aware of the history of that user. As a casual reader of that site, itnis funny to read the reactions to that user.
  2. True. According to a poster on Tekel Towers who posters there suuspect is Asghar has said Gogic has signed. But who knows. The signing is a big baldy boy, and it was taken last Monday To be fair it could be McNulty with a shaved head and a bit of stubble!!!
  3. Seemingly it was taken last Monday, same day Ross was announced.
  4. Rumours saying he has already signed, but club aren't announcing it yet.
  5. Maybe this new announcement regarding Kairos Sports internal communications app is so that the media team, management team and recruitment teaam can all be arranging new signings efficiently, clearly and quickly without errors!
  6. That's fair. Yes it is wishful thinking. Pedigree wiise, previous career to joining United Eriksson is at a higher level than Siegrist was when he joined, how he'll play and improve we don't know at United, only those that have seen him in training and watch Swedish football will have any idea. As I said it wasn't aimed specifically at you, but some of the shite being spoken by folk trying to say they are ITK over Eriksson is ludicrous, nudge-nidge, wink-wink stuff, andnis the same nonsence said about Niskanen and others in the past.
  7. I don't think anyone is claiming CarlJohan Eriksson will be better, he may be just as good, he might not be but his track record and history say he should be a decent keeper. There does seem to be an amazing amount of wind and pish that has been spouted about him though. We've heard so far We've signed a dud There are reasons he isn't playing United are trying to offload him already Remember the Japanese lad Easy to answer those. Yes there is a reason he hasn't played, it's because Benji was here. We expected bids for Benji last summer hence Carson signing. We knew Benji wouldn't stay, so we signed one of the top performing keepers from Sweden's top league, a current Finalnd squad member to settle in, play understudy to take over when the top spot was vacated. Lost count of the number of players over the years that have similar "in the know" stories put out, that they are poor, Not up to the job when no one has seen them play. He might be good, he might be great, he might be rubbish, can he be seen playing before he is written off? Now not saying that's exactly what your doing, but your post allowed me mention a frustration I have over some of the. Comments about players we sign & how it seems to spread with no qualifying additional info to support it.
  8. No worries, was probably badly worded anyway. @Ludo*1has linked to an interview where Ross has explained being a Dee, so as they say learn something new every day!
  9. OK, thanks for that, I stand corrected . Did wonder how he was a fan. Easy to see how a fan might not manage a club they support though. Might think with the heart not the head, take things too personally & put themselves under too much stress. Some may be the opposite l, but easy to see why.
  10. It is, has no relevance as to whether he's a fan though. Hundreds of players play youth football for a team from an other town than they are from. Doesn't translate that they would be a supporter. He might be, but the "he's a Dundee fan" I've not seen until he was linked to the job at Dens.
  11. Never seen any link with him and Dundee othher than him playing for Dundee as a youth. Unless of course coming from Falkirk becoming a Dundee fan while a youth player was more palatable than following Falkirk.
  12. Was it ever on in the first place? Looks like it may have been an approach from a 3rd party
  13. You would like to think so. He can't have been a big earner to begin with. According to "the player" he expects United to receive money, United expect to receive money. Its only Hearts and those journos speaking to Hearts/Neilson's agent that say otherwise. If it is the case Hearts aren't due any money its a major failing on United's admin side of the business. I don't see it though, its basics.
  14. As long as we have offfered Neilson a contract before 60 days of the expiry of his existing one, on the same or better terms and for at least a year we are due a fee.
  15. Only person I've seen suggest that, other than you, is Barry Anderson. The contract was offered in February. Unless there has been rule changes that is within the time frame.
  16. According to United February after being in discussions sinnce September.
  17. Interview with Tony. Seemed to me a decent interview. https://youtu.be/YIvGq-qRGR8
  18. Not saying it's likely, but would United not just be a case.of Beerschot not paying the full fee? They paid an initial low figure, there would be instalments then the add-ons etc. Insituations like this,as you've said in the previous message, all that would be written off by United and. We'd just get the player. They wil want that from a third party to cover sell on fee and other clauses/instalments to United.
  19. Celebrating is one thing, running onto a pitch, when everyone knows you can get a hammering for it and has been the case for decades, to celebrate moving from 5th to 4th is a bit OTT. I said the same thing when we beat 10 man Ayr in the cup. If that had been Dundee or Aberdeen for example most of the fans on the pitch in Dingwall would have been ripping the pish. I also said on the other hand, some.of the reporting of this has also been OTT.
  20. I'm not a fan of smoke.bombs either. I have to be consistent amd rip into our fans for the pitch invasion. Had any other club done that we'd all to a man be ripping into them for embarrassment of acting like they'd won the league. We do have a number of fans that seem to invade the pitch at the drop of a hat, like beating a lower league team in an early cup round etc. I know it makes me sound like a total buzzkill, I'm old enough to remember proper pitch invasions all be it as a child, but at least it was for something memorable, final day saving from relegation, league winning etc not moving from 5th to 4th and having 1 less Euro qualifying round. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for big celebrations in the stands but and was jigging like mad following the game via twitter in a train back to Dundee, but I'd be a total hypocrite and be looking through tangerine optics to go the pitch invasion was all good. Having said all that, there was no malice, no truely bad behaviour, no aggression towards County fans or players so it does seem strange the reporting of the event from some journalists that was horrendous scenes of hooliganism. I'd expect better, fans will view it tribally, us good, them bad, but experienced journalists should be better (Iknow, I know!). Anyway here's to closing the gap to third and a cup next year!!!
