Poor service in restaurants/pubs. Booked a place in Darlington for last night, and waited 30 mins and walked out after nobody came to take our food order. Just kept getting told he'd be with us in a minute, but kept going to serve drinks to folk that had just walked in. Surely telling the folk at the bar to hold on for 2 minutes while he took our order would have been a better idea?? Also there was a girl working as well but was wiping tables down, and not taking anyone's food orders. Gave them a bad review on FB, they then deleted the review and blocked me.

Union pilsner. And very nice.

I'm done 9.5 lbs in 4 weeks. Cutting out all the "bad stuff" and the booze has helped, along with being in a physical job. Changing jobs has helped immensely, I'm not coming in stressed every night and eating junk and reaching for the whisky bottle or picking up beers on the way home.

It genuinely is. Occasionally I'll read the football sections of whatever papers are there, but I've taken to bookmarking any decent football blogs I've found on twitter and reading them whilst having a pint or 2. I'm always happy to chat to anyone else about the football though.

I love a lamb chasni, but not everywhere does one. In Darlington next weekend (long story) and booked a curry house on Friday night, messaged them and they are going to rustle up a chasni, even though it's not on the menu.

I felt sorry for and was frustrated with Easton, both in equal measures. He should be putting his laces through those chances every now and again instead of trying the curling effort. Connolly can be guilty of that as well. Great to watch when it works, but annoying as hell when it doesn't work after about 5 times.

Hurried home from the other side of Edinburgh back to east Lothian to catch that on the TV. Wish I'd stayed out a bit longer.

Used to buy the east lothian courier on a Thursday, and the record on a Saturday. Stopped buying them ages ago, and started putting the equivalent of what we'd spend in a jar for holiday funds, sitting with nearly 60 quid already.

Went to see him at the playhouse a good few years back. However there was a wee ginger c**t in front of me with a laugh like a hyena on red bull. Turned out it was Neil Lennon. Think it was around the time celtic were preparing for the UEFA Cup final.

An eye test confirmed this morning that I need glasses. Misreading the second part of that sign DEFINITELY confirms that I do.
