  1. Based on what, you would have to wonder? Given what would appear to be the standard of some of the players Stubbs does rate, I can't help but worry about his judgement.
  2. One really has to wonder what the f**k is going on inside the heads of folk who can't attend a fitba match without smashing things up. Very little, presumably.
  3. Congratulations Hibs. I enjoyed the match. I hope you all enjoy the party.
  4. Sorry, let me understand what you're suggesting here. The club exists as an wholly autonomous entity that can disassociate itself from those who are its formal custodians? How exactly does that work?
  5. That, indeed, is the bottom line. Apparently the rest of us are going to be eating humble pie, however.
  6. All good things must come to an end, but in this case, the END will be cause in itself for great celebration (again).
  7. I defecate on the resting place of the deceased club, and flatulate in the general direction of its b*****d offshoot! ETA: FFS, is this site still bleeping out b*****d, seriously?
  8. Oh, come on! You did walk straight into it (in fact, I harboured a suspicion that you'd posted it knowlingly for the sake of the banter). Anyway, back on point, we are eagerly awaiting your positive take on this latest development pertaining the liquidation of Rangers. Please don't disappoint....
  9. Aye, it is a bizarre notion indeed. Its incredible that some supporters of the deceased club will endeavour to spin this into a positive. I cannae wait!
  10. Duff & Phelps crooked shysters? No....really?!?! (now, if only I could find the post I made to this effect on the day that they were appointed....).
  11. I'm hearing that Oscar Pistorious has sacked his lawyer and hired Celtic to be his legal team. They lost both legs and still managed to win. [apologies for this, it has no doubt already been posted, but I can't be arsed reading the entire thread]
  12. Will there be a minute silence at the next match at Celtic Park in memory of Celtic's credibility?
  13. People who call me on the landline at work, and assume that I will know - and/or care - who they are. Tell me who you are, FFS, and don't be so presumptious as to believe that I'll recognise your voice! It is even more annoying if a work colleague does this and adds, "hi, it's me....". Really?!?! And who the f'ck would you be then?
  14. Just check first that she isn't looking for a case study for her final report submission.
  15. FFS, that's eerie. I just posted on the other thread that I like this guy for no apparent reason.
  16. The kids who play on our street stopping to give our cat a wee clap as opposed to drop kicking her down the driveway, as I always anticipate they are about to do. Makes me smile.
  17. Roland Rivron. For more years than can possibly be healthy, I have harboured a pathological dislike for this man. I have never been able to pin down why he arouses such contempt in evey fibre and sinew of my being. The nearest I have been able to come to explaining it is the fact that he is so utterly pointless. Sarah Jessica Parker is another. Some of my neighbours also annoy me for no tangible reason. A couple across the road who both have huge arses irritate me intensely. I think it might be down to them being a bit too unashamed about having huge arses for my liking.
  18. Aye, I use the shims on the brakes, too. I've not had to replace any bits on my road bike as yet, though had a fairly long lay-off, so it hasn't taken too much punishment. I've flirted with the idea of carbon, but wasn't overly convinced by its durability or comfort (though there probably isn't much in it when compared with alu). When I first started riding the road bike, and for a while thereafter, I tended to get the head down and feel I was obliged to hammer it at all costs. I returned home from what should have been a scenic route one afternoon, and couldn't remember even looking about and taking in the views during the ride. This struck me as a bit daft, and I realised I was missing out. I'll never race, or compete in time trials, so I had a bit of a re-think as to what I was looking to get out of my riding. I realised I enjoyed have a relatively light, fast bike that could get me places in decent time and in relative comfort, but I also wanted to enjoy being outdoors, and active. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy thrashing it occasionally, and got the head down during my commute yesterday because the roads were quiet and I was feeling good, but I now know how to get more from my riding. I reckon I still prefer the road bike (I've also got a MTB and a folder), but I've now realised that I should use it for my purposes, rather than trying to adapt to what I assumed was it's - not sure if that makes any sense, but hey ho!
