Was the Ajax manager or players admitting that the first 20 or so minutes of the game they were just trying to survive?

Ha ha 😂 oh dear,Real Madrid just trying to survive against the mighty Glasgow Celtic ?  Oh Carlo, you really should try stand-up, you're a natural...... Real Madrid will not have an easier game all season is the truth of matter.

No, it’s absolutely nothing to do with that - it’s because Real fans are shit.

    Absolute rubbish.

Whether you loath or love Celtic (I am very much the former) there is no denying that Celtic Park is an iconic stadium of European football. Big European nights at Celtic Park are well known across Europe for their great atmospheres and any true football supporter knows this. To say otherwise suggests you are simply blinded by hate.

There is every denying. It's your opinion but not a universal one by any means but if lying on your belly asking the big boys to tickle you and tell you how wonderful you are makes life easier then that's just grand.

You say they like I have any control or say in where we play 😂

Difference is I’m not going to bitch and moan about finances because there are parts of our performance last night which were good and if we were more clinical then getting a result may have been a possibility.

    Glass half full mate

Pointing out the realities of disperate football finances is not bitching and moaning any more than pointing out the realities of income differentials between billionaire hedge fund types and people on Universal Credit is bitching and moaning. Yet in  the Tory tinted world of Glasgow Celtic where you just have to think positive and try harder it seems that it is.  You're performance last night was as irrelevant as a St Mirren or St Johnstone pluckily making it to half time level before the inevitable and tedious pumping.  What poor Liz Truss will make of it when she takes up the invitation to watch the right wingers football club of choice is anyones guess. But she'll love the Celtic philosophy......no handouts, pull yourself up by the bootstraps.

Already seen this argument being made and I don’t think it matters. Biggest club in the world, European champions, visiting an iconic stadium they’ve never been to before in Glasgow (not exactly the ends of the earth) and they’ve taken less away fans than most SPFL club supporters would take. It’s embarrassing. As someone alluded to earlier, Real Madrid are indeed an insufferable club supported by total gimps. I really don’t like them.

Parhaps they've no interest during hard times to spend money to watch what for their team would be little more than a glorified training session .  And maybe they don't buy into this 'iconic stadium' hype that Scottish football journalists foist onto Celtic in lieu of having a competitive football team ? You do know that Radio Clyde Superscoreboard doesn't have a lot of influence in Madrid ?

The amount of diddies posting about finances and business plans would suggest it’s probably the reverse that’s true and using a defeat to Real as some sort of gotcha is a genuine minter 😂

Only thing that went wrong yesterday is we didn’t take our chances to give us something defend and ran out of steam against a truly world class side. That’s the level and we aren’t at that level just now but we will keep trying 😉

You must leave, you do know that don't you ? Because if you stay, then no matter how hard you try you will never, never, never reach the level of Real, Man City, Bayern etc etc. Just as no matter how hard they try Aberdeen, Hibernian, Heart of Midlothian will never reach  the level of Celtic. So, please , for the good of all, just go. You offer nothing to us and we offer nothing to you..

If their aim is only to have listeners who want to hear about the Glasgow teams, they are doing a great job.

It's been poor during OaM for some time, Kenny Mac is making it worse.

The lack of post match interviews, technical glitches and no semi competent analysis makes that section almost unlistenable now.

Having Donnelly and McCann on sportscene the other day just topped it off.

Would be great to see some figures on their listener numbers and location etc.

Radio Old Firm Superscorebored exists to tell lies about Rangers & Celtic if that's your thing.

No i just don’t find being called a bigot, jokingly or not in the least bit amusing especially as there is no grounds for it. Quite happy to have the piss ripped out of me about most things but that shit can’t get to f**k.

No one likes being called a bigot. It isn't nice. Many years ago I decided that a really good way to avoid such abuse was to stop supporting one of the two clubs in Scotland that pander to bigotry as a business model. Works a treat. I can be called roaster, idiot, throbber, dumpling , etc etc but never bigot. Why not give it a try ?

    Big Ange to me, pal.

I'm sensing a lot of pent up anger, calm down.

Don't take up psychiatry if that's what you sense.  Mr Postegoclu is sitting with me right now and , just as I am not your pal, neither is he. A wee bit of decorum and respect, kind sir. It's what Big Ceaser and Wee Patsy would have wanted. Not to mention Willie Maley or 'Oor Chuckles ' , as I affectionately called him.

I understand that you want to create a fake competitiveness in the league at the expense of any hope of quality. Only in Scotland would the solution be to drag the top down & make everyone shite, instead of wanting ways for the bottom to improve & get closer to the top.

Your plan would be the death of any kind of ambition, and I'm not just talking from a Celtic point of view.

I don't know about the death of any kind of ambition, i'd just take the death of Glasgow Celtic & Glasgow Rangers as a starting point for a new dawn. Everything's got to be better after that.
