SweeperDee
Where is the conference? City centre? It was in the business (or Technology?) and innovations building at Strathclyde University. I ended up going to the cooks and indi world buffet, it was quite good. -
Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
Oh you fucking b*****d. Don't ever make me choose.
Swarley
Annalise Hartman or Beth Brennan? 1990s for this pish. But for the record, it's an incredibly difficult decision..........Annalise.
SlipperyP
After "deliberating" over many photos in the bathroom this morning, I'll go with Beth. ImageUploadedByPie & Bovril1427018870.386674.jpg Is the correct answer
jamamafegan
Doesn't happen to be anyone on here who is a wizard with statistical analysis is there?
welshbairn
Craigkillie has PhD in stats. He may be useful. It will take an awful lot of wanking and a state of the art stop watch to get a statistically relevant sample. #prayforCraigkillie
BuddieInDundee
Any Dundonians know of a decent letting agency? Due to begin the thoroughly depressing task of flat hunting soon. I know Grant Property are to be avoided.
BuddieInDundee
Lara Letting are meant to be decent. As are thepropertyman. Avoid Direct Lettings. Cheers. With Rockford just now and not hugely impressed. Crossing my fingers for somewhere around Perth Road/Blackness Road as Stobswell is just a bit meh.
BuddieInDundee
Buy the Courier on a Thursday, it has a property section in it, you'll find folk there letting out their flats without the middle man. I've just had a keek at Rockford as I'd never heard of them, you're paying through the nose! Not a bad idea actually! Tell me about it, 400 quid a month, Andy Carroll level of panic buy(or let in this case) as I was expecting to move back to Glasgow.
ScottR96
Would I be able to get a credit report there and then if I went into my bank?
Lisa Cuddy
You'd need to try Experian or something like that for a credit report.
supermik
I was given a code number from a bank for two years free membership of Experian. Whilst signing up for it my internet failed and the sign up failed. The code will not be recognised anymore so I never got to look at my credit rating.
Gaz
Experian and the like are robbing b*****ds who try to con you into a £15 per month membership to see your fictional 'credit score', which doesn't even exist. All three companies (Experian, Equifax and Noddle/CallCredit) are legally bound to give you a copy of your credit report if you pay them £2, it's called a statutory report. Banks don't give them at all.
DA Baracus
Get on Gumtree. Plenty of flats going there.
BuddieInDundee
I'd probably end up sharing a studio flat getting buggered by an Eastern European student.
Lisa Cuddy
And by some coincidence, I just found this on Twitter, hw to get your credit report for free http://www.hotukdeals.com/freebies/free-credit-report-for-life-via-asda-money-2165648
1320Lichtie
I'd probably end up sharing a studio flat getting buggered by an Eastern European student. I was looking at a flat yesterday that was literally right next door to the Hawkhill tavern, couldn't decide whether that would be a good or bad thing. Perth Road seems to pricey, Forest Park Road/Scott Street/Rosefield Street is where I'm aiming for atm
Swarley
Used to live above a pub during my Uni days. Pros were the handiness of a pub, and watching the fights at closing time. Cons were handiness of the pub and the fights at closing time.
BuddieInDundee
Forest Park Road is absolute carnage on a Saturday night. Great street for a Perty. Stayed there during my UNAYY days. The temptation to return...
Karpaty
What hair gel do p&b'ers use? I normally use Goldwell but a tub costs more than a hair cut so I'm not really sure it justifies it. Any cheaper brands that surprisingly work?
