The New Raith Rovers Thread

Recommended Posts

Check my activity on my profile, mainly football opinions (strangely enough) and a couple of comments when I've been given unmitigated dung.

You're the one posting ridiculous questions and unsubstantiated insinuations. Articulate a valid point and I'll take you more seriously.

At the moment all you're coming up with is insults and questioning my mental health. You're clearly annoyed. Chill out, I'm fine.

I said valid opinion - this is a forum about Raith Rovers, where your opinions are neither valid, informed or relevant. I honestly could not care less about Michael Moffat and how many goals he has, has not scored in league 1.

So unless you have anything meaningful to contribute to a forum about Raith Rovers other than the usual "big team" (and other related variants) snooze-fest then please, just don't say anything. It's not that you're annoying anyone really, it's just really embarrassing for you. Genuinely, you're making yourself look like a complete twat with some of this stuff.

It also distracts from genuine chat that is going on in the thread. It's like a cry for attention.

PS Take me seriously? Wow... The irony is almost too much.

The irony is you keep replying to my posts. I'll post where I want and won't be shoved around by a mouth with a chip on his shoulder. Still insulting. PM me if you want an argument. You're making a breast of yourself.

Right lads, get the thread back on track...

A poor set of financials given what was a successful season.

Aye, crowds weren't brilliant which is certainly the main factor, but we did have a bloody big squad by the end, which can't have helped.

No it's not. It's clearly an offer for you to vent your spleen off this very thread instead of this. Take up the offer or shut yir geggy.

Last word from me.

Are these accounts not to 30 June 2015 and so reflect the results of Murray's last season?

Of course, yeah.

I see QoS signed Stephen Dobbie. That's a cracking signing, and almost certainly means we drop yet another place in the table...

A season which included a televised Scottish Cup game at Ibrox.

Not good. I'm trying to think what happened at the end of that season, but nothing immediately springs to mind.

Compensation at the sacking of a manager ?

Would this also be the start of that season that the seats were put into the keytech stand ?

My understanding (and I could be wrong) was that we continued to pay Murray's contract rather than paying him off all at once.

Losing that much money in a season with Hearts, Hibs and Rangers in the league, as well as a televised cup tie at Ibrox, is worrying.

Just how much were we paying the likes of Nade, Scott and Conroy?
