San Starko Rover
Was pretty happy when we signed Ross but ultimately it just didn’t work out between injuries and not finding the form he showed before to impress Murray enough so it’s probably the correct decision especially as he was rumoured to be a top earner at the club. Not shocked he’s rocked up at Falkirk, how many ex Rovers are there now (staff and players) must be a fair few. Best of luck to him and hopefully he doesn’t come back to bite us when we play them. Let him off with his typo of Kirkcaldy though
RAITHROVERS84
Don’t think it’ll be a surprise to see Ethan come back and haunt us. Seen enough in between injuries and limited game time that he’s got something. That said with what we have he is surplus to requirements. Would that be the case if injury free however? We’ll see how he performs this coming season with a run of games. He doesn’t get ahead of Easton so it is what it is. Hope Millen gets a good club sorted, played with 100% commitment and passion. Morton surely has to be the destination.
Ro Sham Bo
Ross has played well for about 2 months of a 3 year deal. He's been a major flop, there's no two ways about it. I doubt he'll even get a game for Falkirk next season.

Michael W
Ethan Ross is a very capable player. Whilst letting him go on loan to Falkirk and indeed not offering him a deal were the right things to do, those decisions definitely come with some trepidation that he will come back and haunt us. That said, we have to balance that with reality: he was out injured too often and he plays a position that we have plenty of options in. He was also, I believe, one of our top earners (alongside Jamie Gullan), who also spent a fair bit of time injured. From a financial perspective it makes sense for the club to move him on as well. I think we might have a first here where I completely agree with the retained/released list. Liam Dick is seldom injured, can cover CB as well and is solid enough. Whether he will be happy being a back up is a different matter. Corr I think will be looking for somewhere with more chance of first team football. I do feel a bit for Scott McGill, even if the decision is the right one. His versatility went against him a bit, I think - he was put in when there was a clear gap and was never able to get a run in the team. There is a player there, although he was well down the pecking order for us in his favoured position; he needs to find a club where he'll be one of the first pick CMs. Edited June 5 by Michael W
Raithie
Re Ethan Ross. When we had the strip launch event at Starks a couple of seasons ago he was on the pitch playing football with the kids and seemed a really nice genuine guy. Footballing wise there's no doubt he's a capable player albeit hearing he was on one of McGlynn's inflated contracts and one of the clubs highest earners was wild. He always seemed to spend most of the game on his arse and I think it was the correct decision to put him out on loan and get him off the books. In the grand scheme of things, even if he wasn't on such a high wage, I don't think releasing him would have been a terrible idea in comparison to who we've got at the club just now.
Raith Against The Machine
Ethan Ross far from the only player forced to take a step down to revive his career. Fair play and good luck to him.
mrraith71
Surely that story about the diverted flight is not about AA?!? He’s a young laddie with talent surely he wouldn’t do something so bloomin stupid? Wonder how long until our next new signing? Now I know how the bairns feel at Christmas waiting on Santa!

Again, I know I posted about this first so want to make clear, Im not saying its 100% him, its just who a mate who was on the flight thinks it was. Apparently he was with Luke Mahady.
