HIT THE CHANNEL Posted July 24 Share Posted July 24 Looking at the fixtures/scenarios, it looks as if the main chance we have is Airdrie not winning against QoS (and then all of the other results across several groups where we need higher seeded teams to do the business happens). Second best would be Queens Park not winning against Kelty (and then again, all of the other results go by seeding). I don't think us trying to score our way through is possible, considering the team we are playing and the sides others are playing. Wardy Posted July 24 Share Posted July 24 Yeah got to agree, and one, if not both Falkirk and Ayr should win their games too. So one of them pretty much guaranteed passage to the next round. If not both knocking out Dundee United in the process. Ayr at home to Buckie as well which, looking at Buckie’s previous results should be very comfortable for Ayr who have already hit the net a few times in Pre-season and in this competition. Not the end of the world going out of a competition that you have very little chance of winning overall but the prize money would have been welcome. There seems to be some inconsistency on who has things still available and who doesn't. Hanlon and Stevenson for example have no indication that they either have or need a boot/training kit sponsor.
