See that smelly annoying boy in your class at school, that's Raith Rovers that is.

Your next Manager will be an ex-Hearts player for sure.

WAIT!!!!  They now have schools in Dunfermline?  Well done, have you started yet?

Board meeting to be held today to decide on the next move.

Drysdale says Locke and Jackson were aware that the Morton game was make or break and that there was no suggestion of them having lost the dressing room.

All from today's Courier.

The FFP also says that Craig Easton will take training as of today( which we already knew anyway) but he has ruled himself out as a candidate.

Similar, less detailed, analysis from Neil Robertson in the Courier. Saying Locke was a genuinely nice guy who was determined to install good team spirit etc etc but tellingly there is not an ounce of criticism of our decision to sack him.

Nicky Clark, and Farid El Alagui were the only 2 players that you signed after the 2-0 Rovers win at Starks..? I wouldn't say that's half a new team to be honest..

Off the top of my head, they've also signed John Herron and Paul McMullan, both of whom were impressive against us.

Add in a fit again Nat Wedderburn and Sean Murdoch, and that's a significant upgrade.

We went the opposite way.

The articles you get from the local journalists, who cover our games and stories on a regular basis, are usually a far fairer representation of how things are than the "succulent lamb" brigade from the wider media. They put in the hours and see what we do (on the pitch) plus a lot more that we don't (off the pitch).

Farid did nothing against the Rovers, McMullan was an unused sub back in August. So, signing half a new team was John Herron?

Team from the first game at Starks

DUNFERMLINE: David Hutton: Ryan Williamson, Lee Ashcroft, Ben Richards-Everton, Lewis Martin (Jason Talbot 80): Rhys McCabe (Michael Paton 77), Andy Geggan (c), Kallum Higginbotham, Joe Cardle: Michael Moffat (David Hopkirk 60), Gavin Reilly.
SUBS NOT USED: Paul McMullan, Callum Fordyce, Lewis Spence, Cammy Gill (GK)

Team from new year fixture

DUNFERMLINE: Sean Murdoch: Andy Geggan, Callum Fordyce (c), Lee Ashcroft, Jason Talbot: Paul McMullan (Joe Cardle 89), John Herron, Nat Wedderburn, Kallum Higginbotham: Nicky Clark (Gavin Reilly 90+1), Michael Moffat
SUBS NOT USED: Ryan Williamson, Michael Paton, Conner Duthie, Farid El Alagui, David Hutton (GK)

Whilst we didn't "sign"  half a team, the two line-ups are significantly different. Only 4 players who started in August lined up against them in January.

What an utterly bizarre thing to get bent out of shape about. As has already been pointed out, the line up we faced at the start of the season is very different to the starting line up Dunfermline have had since they've started performing better.

Whether they're new signings or not is irrelevant. The point being made was we beat Dunfermline when they were far weaker than they are now. Really not seeing why you've taken such issue with that.

The initial post said we'd signed several players and this was why we'd improved. In reality, we have almost the same squad. Perhaps I'm worng but I'd imagine it was also a dig as "the Pars always spend their way out of trouble"

Either way, pointing out that someone is telling a fib is not "utterly bizarre".
