Still, we should hang onto him, regardless of losing him for nothing in a year, the revenue from promotion far outweigh any nominal fee we'd pick up for him now. Hes also already proven that he's professional enough to do a job for us on the pitch, even if his head is turned, as witnessed by his application for Dumbarton at our expense. Wouldn't we still be due a development fee next year anyway so long as we match current terms? If he'd scored 30 goals last season you would barely get 75 grand. Simon Murray scored shit loads for Arbroath in League 2 and DUFC payed 50 for him including loaned back. Austin scored a lot for us in League 2 and 1 and we got around 30 for him. 2 goalscoring promising youngsters. Vaughan is not in that level. Take 10 and move on. Maybe Raith TV are getting an exclusive interview with him which is why he's been so quiet. It's hard to determine what his exact value actually is considering how un proven he is. Basing a price purely on potential will never work.
