In this country as you will be aware people are taken to criminal court to be found guilty and sentenced not a civil court. Evidence is far less in a civil court to get a verdict. He was found guilty of rape in a court, by a judge who had seen all the available evidence no less. I have honestly got no idea how anyone (I'm assuming you have done this) can read the court transcript and still defend a rapist.
