CALDERON Posted July 26, 2023 Share Posted July 26, 2023 (edited) Disappointing not to win that in the 90 minutes to be honest, we were very good indeed in that 2nd half. Frustrating that we conceded another goal from a set piece. I'm not convinced with Big Kev, looks pretty suspect and lacking confidence with crosses. But, good saves in the shootout - hopefully that helps his confidence. Another game that we would have won with a decent centre forward on the pitch tbh. Hopefully we start Murray and Hamilton on Saturday. All of that said, I'm being a bit harsh there - we had more shots (or did with not long to go when they flashed the wee graphic on the screen) and had the better chances, without the bulk of possession. CrossgatesCynic Posted July 26, 2023 Share Posted July 26, 2023 Some laugh, that. Second half was pretty impressive to watch for the most part. Rovers getting a lot of joy routinely on the break. Dabrowski looks low on confidence but that should do wonders for him. He did incredibly well with the saves.
