Derry Alli
Wasn't too hungry so got a 'snack meal' rice and chicken bhuna from the Indian I regularly feature on here. It was lovely and now I regret only getting a snack meal one.
spud131
Had french toast for lunch today, haven't made it in the house for ages but it was bloody delicious. The whole house stinks of French toast now.

You’ll notice that I swapped the green beans for peas, and the plum tomatoes for chopped, as I didn’t have the former in each case.

Those roast potatoes are my best yet, cooked with baking soda and an oxo cube. The ham was slow cooked then bunged in the oven with a mustard and honey glaze, chicken stuffed with sage and onion stuffing, and then the usual veg (please ignore the Haribo tub and Tool Station catalogue!) Those roasties look amazing. What's the script with the Oxo cube and baking soda? Might try this today

I parboiled them for about 20 mins, added in baking soda during, then drained, sprinkled one oxo cube over them and put them in really hot oil. Turned them after 25 mins and cooked for a further 25 mins. They were amazing. Doing them again today.

Will see how I get on.
