Thank you.

He has to do a main and a dessert.

He can stick with his duck dish if he wants because it's different judges, or he can choose to do something new.

I think he is going to do a mille-feuille for dessert.

Won't somebody think of the ducks?

He must be getting through them at some rate.

Ordered a Chinese takeaway. Crispy Peking Duck, deep fried salt and pepper King prawns and banana fritters. I had a fiver tip set out for  the delivery guy, but it arrived nearly two hours after ordering. I didn't tip him. It was delicious, but cold.
I'm conflicted. It was probably the restaurant's  fault.
Should be a very nice repeat tomorrow though

Bairn has his North Scotland final in Elgin the morn.

Going with the Duck and a ginger poached pear for dessert.

I will update with the result the morn.

Whatever he does I am so very proud.

Late to the game on this one. Hope they nailed it

Always use heather honey & balsamic over duck.

Bairn unfortunately didn't win.

He still made it to the top 8 in North Scotland. As he was the youngest he can still enter for another 2 years. Very proud.

Thank you all for your support as I always passed it on to him.

Here's to next year!

Can the ducks rest easy for a wee while?

One for the spice/heat fans

ridiculously tasty stuff only available from his online shop or food markets in Cheshire

Chips tossed in it are now a staple. can’t get enough of it,  It’s like when I first tasted siracha and was putting it on everything. His sauces were decent if not mind blowing

Beef Schnitzel pepper sauce. $15 lunchtime special at Archer Hotel, North Adelaide. Crumb coating and beef would have been a bit better thinner. Apart from that very good.

Interesting strategy to put the sauce over the coleslaw but not the chips. A psychologist would have a field day with that.
