John Lambies Doos
Possibly but if your doctor tells you not to go on holiday and you do it anyway, doubt if your holiday insurance would cover you. Nor will you be covered for personal contents insurance if someone steals your food from a communal Fridge

It's faily blizzardy here (Invergordon) now. Further along towards Dornoch is treacherous going by some photos on Twitter etc.

Bishop Briggs
A neighbour told me that her kids in the local primary school have been banned from throwing snowballs in the playground. Apparently the risk of injury, e.g. from a stone in a snowball, is too high. -

Any kid worth their salt ignores it and batters into snowball fights anyway.
Mark Connolly
While everything else shuts down, I have to give full credit to Sky for keeping their service running, given that it normally has no signal if a sparrow flaps its wings within 10 feet of my dish.
DA Baracus
Been sent home (as have all the office)? Those with a work laptop have been told to work from home. I don't have one. All students have been sent home too and all classes for tomorrow have been cancelled. We might not have to go in tomorrow either. Dundee buses are going off at 15.00. Got out of work to be greeted by clear blue sky overhead. However it does look a bit dodgy facing South:

Uncle Psychosis
I'm in Burntisland. Weather wasn't too awful this morning but it's been absolutely teeming it down with snow and high winds since lunchtime. Absolutely no sign of it letting up. Normally I'm one of the folks giving it the "it's not that bad though, is it?" chat but anyone out driving in this needs their head examined.
