However, the whole way through I was distracted by trying to figure out who was the utter wid playing Robert Carlyle's love interest. I knew her from somewhere but could not place her. It wasn't until the end credits I learned she was Lena Headey, AKA Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones on which I'm currently (and finally) binging. She's quite lovely. Peter Vaughan, who plays Maestor Aemon was also in it but I recognised him straight away ffs. Remember vaguely going to see this at the cinema at the time. Bit meh TBH. It had previously been banned because of religious influence. It’s about time this country binned the Catholic Church completely. Not just pubs but shops too. Couldn't believe it last year when found out you couldn't buy drink on good Friday.That's when I did my weekend food shop.
