A vindictive blackbird.

Shat on my big fluffy towel. Rewashed it, hung it back out and it shat on it again.

Blackbird shiteing in the dead of night,

Take this clean towel and make it clarty,

All your life

You were just waiting for this moment to arise

And annoy Scottsdad, blackbird

I remember when the Guinness Book of Records used to be a useful reference book.

It was a bit of an eye-opener to discover that they'll print any old thing you tell them, so long as you're able to pay the asking price.

Was watching a video a while back about a guy who had about a dozen Guinness World Records, only a couple of which could be verified, some of which couldn't possibly be, and several that were obviously untrue and fell apart within a few minutes' research. He'd just paid a fee, bought some plaques to hang about the house, and they included what he told them.

Reminded me of the old scams that dodgy publishers used to run, writing to every author under the sun to say they'd been selected for a book honouring the greatest writers of the year - send us five hundred notes as an admin fee and you'll be included. Nobody cared about the quality of the source material, just the money.

You mean Roy Castle lied to us when we were kids?

Suspect arrested in the Long Island Serial Killer case. Mental case. Sounds like the initial death that sparked the investigation isn’t one of his victims. If you’ve followed the case it seems incredible that the suspects weren’t found within days.
