Maybe he mistook you for his favourite son.

Oh, you.

He's had an awful year, but he's also getting up there in years and I'm a bit worried this is the start of a mental decline. Couldn't bring myself to correct him, so I'm tempted to make this my official birthday and double the number of presents I get each year (0).

It was, however, my late mother's birth month.

Just saying.

So...your mum might be...my sister?

Any popular musicians committed murders and resumed their careers?

Not a musician but people liked Leslie Grantham in EastEnders.

Mind you, anybody who watches EastEnders is suspect anyway.

I had been on P&B for years before I realised that there were threads in the TV forum about soaps!  Soaps; on a site which is populated almost exclusively by grown men.

Mind you there are wrestling threads too!

From most of the comments I've seen, they're forced to watch them by their partners, so they're making the best of a bad deal.

Not sure what the excuse for wrestling is but, then again, I like collecting stickers and trading cards.

I don't disagree with your point GD. People being talented in a certain field shouldn't enable them to live under different rules than the rest of us.

As an example of what I'm talking about though...a while back I read a biography of Steve McQueen. Until then, I didn't know he was a wife-beating, serial adulterer who was an absolute arsehole on the set. Many actors and directors refused to work with him because of his behaviour. I've admired him since I was a little kid but not now. Basically, I would've been happier not knowing that.

That's not going to stop me watching The Great Escape whenever it's on though.

It's never been easier to steal, or even legally consume, someone's material without paying them anything substantial so I guess my own line is if I'm not financially contributing to someone who's generally been terrible then I can live with it. So I can listen to The Smiths on Spotify and contribute 1/100th of a penny to Morrissey's bank account but I'd draw the line at seeing him on tour. Also I wouldn't see Morrissey on tour because he's a boring c**t who's made about 3 good tunes in the last 25 years.

This is Same Shit, Different Place - track #6 from my upcoming debut album Grey Hairs and Black Dogs (with a new release date of June 5th due to coronavirus-related delays). Please feel free to give it a click/listen/like. Would be much appreciated as always

I hoped that moving to London would automatically aid my mental health and I'd see an immediate improvement. That wasn't the case.

(P&B musos: take note)

Little Bobby Shmurda is currently in jail for conspiracy to commit murder. May get out at the end of this year. If you’re not familiar with his songs, here’s one of his best ones about drug dealing and murdering folk..(contains rude words):

10 Rock and Roll musicians who killed someone

FYI, Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll" is still played at some sports venues here, specifically the NBA. Although most Murkans would have no  idea who Mr. Glitter is, much less what he's been up to.

They’d probably elect him as their next president if they knew the full story.

Elderly people should get their facts correct before posting pish on here. IMO. also, Billy 'champagne socialist' Bragg typing out shite for the Guardian, from his luxury mansion. [emoji3]
Can't let this slide, as it has to be one of weakest attacks on someone who's become successful.

So you can't have political views or principles unless you live on the poverty line and give away all your money?

Billy bragg has been a consistent good guy since making his name. He's also bought himself a nice house. So fucking what? If he was tax avoiding then it would be different.

There's probably very little morrissey could do or say now that you wouldn't find a way to defend, with some amusing mental gymnastics.
