Sitting in Edinburgh airport and there’s just been a boarding call for a flight to New York.  Asking anyone requiring assistance to go forward, also ‘US military personnel, and thank you for your service.’

Been a trend for a while to allow active duty (U.S.) military to board with the priority customers. Some allow veterans too.

They sound f**king insufferable.

So many weird things - he didn’t believe she was having contractions despite her being 38 weeks pregnant?

Has Lidl introduced a "pirate safety hour?"

Went in to grab lunch, someone missing a leg, another a hand and someone else wearing an eyepatch.

Felt like the only fully limbed person in there.

The reference to "tremendous traffic management" gives it away as a spoof, people drive around the other side of town to avoid the Raigmore roundabout, it's notorious.

P.S. Having seen the accompanying photos on FB, it might actually be real, godforbid..

Wouldn't surprise me if they simply had a clearance sale on prosthetic limbs in the middle aisle tbh.

Not sure I find that relevant but made me lol

It wasn't the particular storyline, just the overall attitude of the parents.

I don’t think it’s a spoof and someone would have called it by now. It’s hardly a big place. It’s the way he put “contractions” in inverted comas and then didn’t think much of it despite her being 38 weeks pregnant and then rocks up with a Black Isle brewery blonde with her complaining he isn’t taking her stomach pains seriously. I assume he drinks and drives as well unless he got her to drive? 😂

The TVPSPORT.PL editorial team has come across shocking information. Ekstraklasa referees Bartosz F. and Tomasz M. were caught by the Lublin police. Before the Champions League qualifying match, Polish referees… stole a road sign. They had well over a per mille of alcohol in their blood.

Polish referees were to work on Tuesday at 8:00 PM on the Champions League qualifying match. Dynamo Kiev will host Rangers FC at the stadium in Lublin . Bartosz F. was to act as the main VAR referee, his assistant as AVAR was to be Tomasz M., another of our top league referees.

We have determined that the arrest took place at 01:43 in Lublin, precisely at Al. 1000-lecia. Three men stole… a road sign and were moving with it towards one of the shopping malls.

The police arrested the perpetrators who committed an offense – destroying road infrastructure. They turned out to be referees scheduled to work at a Champions League match at the stadium in Lublin. Bartosz F. had almost 1.7 per mille of alcohol in his blood, Tomasz M. about 1.8 per mille. The gentlemen were placed in a sobering-up center.

– At around 1:40 a.m. we received a report of three men carrying a road sign down the street. Police officers were dispatched to the scene. All of the men were intoxicated and had over 1.5 per mille of alcohol in their blood. They were taken to a sobering-up center – Senior Superintendent Kamil Gołębiowski , press officer of the Lublin City Police Headquarters, told us .

We asked Tomasz Mikulski, the head of referees for the Polish Football Association, for a comment. He knew nothing about the matter. On the official UEFA website, the named referees are no longer listed in the line-up for this match. Their place will be taken by another Polish duo: Tomasz Kwiatkowski and Paweł Malec
